Went for a meal there for the first time last night with old friends. It was a lovely pub with great atmosphere and the food was amazing. All the staff were friendly and chatty. Will definately be returning.

We had Sunday lunch at The Hop Pole in Bewdley and without doubt this was one of the best pub lunches we have had. The roast beef was delicious, the roast potatoes were fluffy with crunchy skin. All the staff are friendly and professional. Can’t wait to go back.

Wow! We stopped off en route and were so incredibly amazed. Great Marston’s beers, polite friendly staff with a warm welcome and the food was insane. Hearty portion sizes for a reasonable price and relatively cheap beer. The lamb pea and mint pie of the day was superb! If we’re ever passing again I’m sure we’ll pop in.

Absolutely superb. The food was simply outstanding. The flavours and textures were amazing. My fish main from the festive menu was perfect, my fiancée's beef also off the festive menu was cooked to perfection, with the meat just falling apart, exquisitely cooked vegetables too. Sumptuous puddings of pavlovas, and cocktails to finish. The waiting staff are prompt, polite, and friendly, with just the right amount of checking everything is OK without being overbearing. I can honestly say we have not had such a positive dining experience in a long time. The price is on the higher side, but personally I'd say worth it for the food and service given. Thank you so much, and my compliments to the chef/s for food! (04/12/2021)

Popped in to try the ales and wow lovely little rustic country pub with a mix of modern and traditional decor.Staff are friendly and welcoming.Drink selections are great from craft ales through to the everyday selections of draught beers and ciders and wide variety of spirits etc. Also have a great menu for food and snacks.Would highly recommend popping in and seeing it for yourselves.I personally enjoy a good ale and here they have a great little ale called "RAZOR BACK" from the ringwood brewery and I must say it is worth trying.Looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely love it here me and the husband if he can make it up the stairs not much to offer though maybe change the menu a little bit I love my Sunday roast here :)

Came here spontaneously last Sunday for a roast lunch. Service was really great - one of our guests was veggie and gluten free and expecting not to eat, but the waitress went out of her way to ensure he was catered to and ended up having delicious food. Food was well presented and delicious and ended up having 3 courses for a decent price at £22. Would come here again if I was back in the area.
