First visit here for a number of years. What a transformation! Clearly a lot of time, effort and money has been spent to upgrade the New Inn.The ambiance is now understated but elegant and very welcoming. Staff are attentive but remain in the background, just there if you require anything.Only three starters, mains and deserts on the lunch menu plus bar food options and selection of interesting salads however there are probably more than enough options to suit most peoples desires. Good selection of wines and drinks available.Probably worth booking, I understand the Chef may be able to deal with any dietary requirements if pre-warned.Meals are not cheap but realisticly priced for what you are offered.I look forward to trying the evening menu soon.Outside dining in a lovely garden setting is also available when the weather allows.

Totally revamped in 2020 and now a superb place to stay.Food is Michelin star quality and originality - even for breakfast.Great, friendly and knowledgeable, service.Sumptuous rooms with the most comfortable beds. All we had to ask for was proper milk to make a decent tea/coffee in the room.

Great bar menu, and high quality set lunch menu if somewhat limited in choice of 3 starters and 3 mains. All high quality stuff however. Lovely place to eat, and close to Hereford

Without a doubt, the best Sunday lunch I've had in a very long time. Lovely surroundings and equally lovely staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Fantastic stay at The New Inn. Tasting menu was outstanding and i highly recommended you try it. I had the biggest scollop ever. The room was delicious, enjoyed watching telly from the tub. Staff were so kind, helpful. I can't fault it at all. It's a perfect spot to stay, if you fancy a day in Ross on Wye, Ledbury, symonds yat and Hereford.10/10 from me.

All I can say is wow! It was our first visit since its renovation and new management. The food was fantastic not only were the flavours for all 3 courses wonderful visually they were stunning. We all had the a la carte menu and worth every penny. The staff were warm and friendly, truly cannot fault. Thank you for such a memorable birthday treat, Helen

Menu was great, properly struggled to choose which dish to go for, lots of variety. Food was delicious and the staff were good. The interior has had a lot of love invested in it, would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.
