Very friendly and accommodating staff as we had two dogs with us. They couldn’t do enough for us. Food was great lots of it and very 😋 tasty. Would definitely go again if in the area.

I visited this pub yesterday and I’ve only got good things to say about this place. I was in a party of around 15 young people who had just been on a long walk, and when we arrived the staff didn’t hesitate to welcome us and get us all a drink. Service was kind and there was a cute dog walking around! To make things even better when it started to get dark a member of staff offered to drive us back to our parked cars as we’d walked 40mins away to get to the pub. This is a very kind thing to do and I know we all appreciated this act of kindness. Definitely recommend and will visit again if in the area.

A very warm welcome awaits you as you enter the premises. Light and airy but in keeping with the style of pub. Clean toilets. A small but varied menu. The food was served very hot and was delicious. The chips were amazing. Very good prices for food and drink.

Fantastic Sunday Roast. I had the Roast Beef which was the best I’ve tasted for a long time. The Sunday Roast had a choice of Beef or Chicken so you know it’s all home made not the pre frozen stuff. The Chicken was a large piece of tasty breast. Very welcoming owner who made us feel like a local straight away.The deserts are scrumptious.Tip: Make sure you book as the pub was packed with people eating outside too.Will certainly go again. We stayed at Lucksall this Bank Holiday and walked to the New Inn for some dinner and drinks. The food was outstanding and the service was very accommodating and friendly. A real little treasure. Would highly recommend and will certainly return.

Had a lovely lunch here earlier this week. The chips were to die for, fat, crispy and fluffy inside, yum! Service was warm and friendly, felt almost like visiting friends for lunch.It's a lovely quiet location, and there was plenty of shade available at the outdoor tables, a relief on a hot day.Great value for money too. Heartily recommended!

We only wanted a drink and to use the toilets. The staff were polite and accommodating. The drinks were very good, I had a lager which was nice and cold and kept it's head till the end. The toilets were nice and clean. Overall a pleasant experience.
