The New Strand in Herefordshire

This is a great little local bookshop/restaurant/post office. We had a lovely lunch here.

One of the finest places to eat in the UK. Excellent home prepared food surrounded by 30,000 books. If you want to know more go there.

We were in a bit of a bind finding somewhere to eat yesterday evening but this place truly saved the day! All the staff were so lovely and the meal was equally as excellent. A delightfully classic pub filled with welcoming people and great food!

Came in the evening for a drink with the family. Very interesting place. Hundreds if books in store, a post office and a bar! Staff were great and locals were friendly. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Briar makes everyone welcome. The service is good and the food is great value. You can also purchase plants and books, or visit the post office. Its a really friendly place and well worth a visit.

Fab place, called in for afternoon tea, really nice, lovely lady served us, even had extra cream, and she waved us off in our classic car, will call again when we are in the area next x

Visited Eardisley a couple weeks ago and ate breakfast and lunch a couple days. Staff were great. We came from Canada to see the village my great great grandparents lived in in the 1850s. Found a book in their store about the history of houses in Eardisley that helped my research. Thanks.
