The old bridge at Hereford is a beautiful place to visit. With the majestic River wye flowing west to east, the cathedral in view and good clean foot paths leading north to the old town and south to open parks and play areas and parking. Well worth a look if you're need a break in you're journey along the A49.

Brilliant. It allowed me to cross the River Wye without getting my feet wet, which is what I look for in a bridge.

·

Some say its the oldest bridge in town...

·

Great spot to view the city. A historical landmark in Herefordshire. It crosses River Wye with segmental arches of red sandstone. Opened 1599.

·

Great view of Wilton Bridge and Hereford Cathedral from path leading to Bishops Meadow.
