The Plough Inn Restaurant in Herefordshire

Seems like a nice little pub. We only used the camping facilities overnight for a quick pit stop.

The staff are fantastic and very welcoming rooms are very clean with plenty of tea coffee sugar fir that much needed copper,the restraunt food is cooked to order so fresh as the breakfast was great set me up for the days activities will be staying again.

Stayed at the Plough for a quiet little weekend away. The Plough is easy to find and is just 10mins away from Hereford. Steph was very welcoming, and we had a nice double room at the front but off to one side so not directly above the pub. Lovely big room with a good view of the fields and hills across the road. Nice big sofa in the room as well as as ensuite shower room. The bar is only small, but a traditional pub with separate areas for eating, drinking and billiards. Very welcoming in winter with the big log stove fired up and dogs running around. Great evening atmosphere and a good laugh with the locals. Steph does a mean fish and chips!There are lots of nice walks in the area: a walk through fields and woods and back to the pub for a decent pint ticks a good few boxes for me.We wanted a chilling weekend, and that’s what we got. A very warm welcome. Lovely clean room. The best night's sleep I've had in ages! I had an early start but breakfast was left ready for me. Lovely little pub. I will.return

We have had a great stay at the Plough Inn. The staff and hosts are very welcoming and are always on hand to help. The stay provided good value. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Being a free house there are many beers and ciders on offer as well as wines and spirits. The food which is served in the evening is just fine for a pub. This is not a gastro pub, but a drinking pub that also does food. We hope to come again as we have more to explore in the area.

Lovely old country pub, fantastic hosts and a fine selection of beers and spirits. Food is spot on and huge portions!. Accommodation is clean and comfortable quiet and safe. What more can you ask for.

Ever since first speaking to the landlord and lady, Dean & Steph, to arrange accommodation for a stag do, they've been nothing but accommodating and incredibly helpful.The fields for camping are amazingly peaceful alongside having everything you'd need for a good night under the stars.The beer garden 👌🏼The free roaming chickens 🙌🏼The price - absolute bargain! 🤑10/10 would recommend to a friend, 11/10 will visit again.Thanks again, Guys!
