Lunch was amazing today we had the wild mushroom risotto and it was creamy delicious,

Not as good as it used to be. Quite pricy for what you get. Steak pudding nuked and tough. Sticky toffee dry. Waiter and young waitress tried hard.

Friendly but not intrusive staff and a good selection of very decent pub food. A slight mix up with an order was resolved very quickly, with sincere apologies and no fuss. If I lived closer, I'd be delighted to have it as my local.

Lovely friendly pub. We had curries which were delicious. Best to book in advance as often not been able to get a table.

What a little gem!! Great variety of dishes. Lots of choices. The food is absolutely lovely and very reasonable prices. Home made chunky chips are always a winner with me. Portion sizes are great. The owner is also the chef and he is an excellent chef, he even went the extra mile to make a peppercorn sauce for my husbands steak , which was not on the menu and he didn't charge for it! The staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. Great selection of real ales and ciders. Lovely open fires and a great atmosphere.I would definitely recommend

Really like this pub, service is great, great beers on tap and a beautiful village pub. It's our go to when time allows and would highly recommend.

Excellent food and great service. My only little grumble is about the poor choice of alcohol free beers. That said, this didn't detract from another lovely visit.

What can I say apart from what a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and food being top notch! Enjoyed every minute from the moment I stepped through the door. Thank you for a lovely experience and filling my stomach with great food. Sadly I forgot to take a photo of my main but glad I caught a snap of the dessert before it was devoured.

Very cosy country pub the atmosphere is very relaxed. Great selections of ales and other drinks.Me and my partner had gamon for main which came out on the plate so big with a bowl of chips such a filling quality local meat.Also the puddings where a rather big portion for such a cheap and fair priceHighly recommend a meal here 👌
