The Scrumpy House at Westons Cider Mill in Herefordshire

Fantastic sunday roast, excellent value for money, lovely ciders, great staff. A great place overall.

Lovely food and good service, ideal place to eat after visiting the westons cider mill or just to enjoy a good meal.

We came here following a tour at the Western's Cider Mill, and it was incredible! The food was amazing, we had the Sunday Lunch, the portion sizes were large and delicious - we had the pork and beef, both were beautifully cooked. Desserts were also fab, a nice range with lots of customisations. Service was also lovley, attentive, fast and friendly! Will certainly be coming back.

Top quality food and service, but you need to book early to get in on a scrumpy house tour.

We were greeted by a lovely friend attentive member of staff called Lydia ! She made a family:friends catch up a lovely experience, explaining about all the ciders, we dicided to have the 3 taster glasses, she was helpful with suggesting the main meal could be all made up into children sized smaller portions. Our food was all lovely and yummy. Thank you for a wonderful lunch with cider 🍺 we will be back and recommending you to friends and family.

A delicious Roast Beef lunch today. Full of flavour, loads of beef, homemade Yorkshire puddings. Cauliflower cheese and crispy roast potatoes.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Can thoroughly recommend. Friendly helpful staff, great food, feels safe re covid measures. Will def return.

The tea rooms were staffed by an incredibly disinterested old woman with a permanent scowl. The cream teas were nice, as were the pasties. However our experience with this one staff member left us with a bad impression. Thankfully, the tour we did afterwards made up for it somewhat, and the young chap there was quite friendly which helped the atmosphere.

Sunday Lunch: Good Food but awfully sllloooowww service. I suppose the food is good because by the time it arrives you are so starving you'll eat anything! The restaurant was full, but that should not be an issue if properly managed. If you are a large table be aware that you get your food two plates at a time, and the same with drinks (do they not have trays??). You also have to make subtle hints if you want more drinks. All in all it was a rather embarrassing time (as i had booked the table and raved to my family about it) and sadly one to avoid if you value your time.
