Lovely friendly family run pub. Good food.

Had a really delightful lunch here. Such a lovely pub, made to feel so welcome and the food and the drinks were spot on. Lovely beer garden, beautifully kept. Definitely a pub for pooches too, doggo biscuits, blankets, toys and fresh water freely available. Well worth a visit and we will be back out there again soon.

Great village pub with lovely food, although the menu was a little limited when we visited. Friendly, chatty staff and good atmosphere. Beer was well kept although quite lively. Maybe they have a "sparkler" on the pump (?). Would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely pub and lovely food. Visited after a day at Weston’s Cider Brewery. We had pizza which was delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive!

My husband and I took our very dear friend for Sunday Lunch on the 10th April. What an absolutely fantastic time we had. The food was delicious and served on warm plates. The Staff were brilliant. We shall be visiting again and again as we live locally.Well done and can't wait to return. Recommend it 100%

Fantastic pub, so glad we stopped here. Very welcoming and attentive service from the fella behind the bar which was then backed up with a seriously good roast dinner at a decent price. If you're in the area pop in for some food and drink, it really is fantastic.

Had a fabulous lunch today at The Slip Tavern. Was very impressed by the service and staff and their incredibly warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.The food was absolutely top notch!The dog was welcomed, which is always a bonus!

What a find. Fabulous food service. Home cooked food beautufully presented tasty and grateful,quality. The roast beef was lean tasty and cooked perfectly. Welcoming to us all including our grandchildren. Gluten free option too.

Booked in advance and was not disappointed. Sunday lunch fantastic and they went out of their way to cook my son some proper chicken nuggets. He ate everything which says something. Manager Dale and his wife Tracey were superb hosts and had a great chat when they were not serving. Young lad behind the bar attentive and good service. Will definitely return.
