Lovely pub in a pretty village. They produced 3 delicious homemade meals (cottage pie, lasagne and pizza) in take away form but served in their own garden, followed by gorgeous mango sorbet also, I would bet, home made. All served by a very personable, pleasant young lady. Tops marks for service and quality in these trying times.

Stayed next door and ate here a couple weeks ago. We were visiting from Canada. Food was very good and service excellent. Bit a different experience since first time in Britain. What are mushy peas lol.

We have just had a most delightful meal at the Tram inn Eardisly. We were given a pleasant welcome. There was no rush during our meal. Each course came out at the appropriate time and was cooked to our taste. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Altogether a lovely eating experience.

Good food and an interesting pub. We had a few difficulties because we had an elderly member in family group and pub was very busy. We had booked table but when we arrived only settings were inappropriate. Service was also under pressure - food cooler than ideal! This was unusual. Previous visits when less busy were fine. Disability access is an issue though.

We were given a warm welcome on sunday ( even our Labrador ) was welcomed with a bowl of water.( it was a very hot day ). We chose to eat outside in the shade. It is a most relaxing garden suitable for families as well. The Sunday Lunch was superb, cooked to perfection. Beautifully presented and the service was excellent. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic little pub that is thoroughly worth a drive out to. Make sure you call ahead as they are understandably popular. The food is excellent and there is a great range on offer. Everything was well presented and excellently cooked. The food alone is enough to thoroughly recommend this gem however the staff are also incredible. Although it was very busy they were extremely attentive, very welcoming and added a really friendly vibe to the entire place.

Would be four and a half stars if I could do it. Went for a birthday lunch with friends and was very pleasantly surprised, from the outside could be another village pub. But once inside found it to be cosy and comfortable, good menu with specials. Landlord was attentive and staff knew how to behave. Would happily go again.

Been here a couple of times now, once by chance and another planned. Both times it seemed very busy! However, they always just about made room for us and the food has been fantastic! And when I say 'busy' it's a nice busy with good atmosphere. The prices are pretty good too! After some more visit it should be a 5 star review soon!

We went to the Tram Saturday 1st July 2017. Just for lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday. (21 again of course!).Only the 3rd visit for us, as we lunched there twice last year for similar celebrations.First time, light lunch omelette fantastic!Second had to be steak! Again it was beautiful! This weekend both my wife and myself went for the stuffed chicken and our young son had one of their baguettes. All of us cannot fault any of the food, service or friendliness of the staff every time ! Apart from I believe Mark the landlord who served up our tremendous lunch all the staff were very young but so keen! Lovely!! Pat on the back guys!!For a small village pub to produce such fine food and drink is outstanding!Saturday lunch? Firstly a picture on a plate and then devoured! Apologies for this review reading like War & Peace! Well deserved though!
