Lovely pub, great good and friendly staff.

·

Great offering big portions. Decent beer and nice service

·

Had a lovely sunday lunch here. Friendly. The food was hot.

·

Never had a bad meal. Always warm and friendly and they sell stowfords

·

Friendly locals pub. Stopped off on a walk around Hereford. Had Sunday lunch which had good reviews from others - but we were a little disappointed: roasties were overdone and dry, and the fresh veg was rather lacking and a bit tasteless. We both had the lamb which was delicious but cost a few ££'s more.

·

Very cosy pub, nice open fire thought and the becks bluebeer a bit pricey at the moment four pounds a small bottle

·

We had three courses for Sunday lunch. Very nice. Good value. Friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Parking not good

·

The Volunteer is how a pub should be, staff friendly good atmosphere, nothing better than having drinks in front of good fire when it's cold and wet outside. We will be back.

·

Great pub, great food, always busy and very popular, even during the week.

·

Gorgeous food. Friendly staff. Fantastic atmosphere. Never had a bad visit.
