The Wye Inn in Herefordshire

We had a very disappointing experience I'm afraid. Having booked a table on Sunday morning and being told we could have any 2 hour slot from 12 to 6...we made the mistake of booking the 6pm slot. We arrived early andpurchased 4 carvery tickets...at just after 6 two of the party went to the carvery to find the remains of the veg and very little meat left. We were told they were refreshing the veg..they weren't! The 2 dinners we took were cold...the 2 who didnt go to the carvery were then told there was no food left and wouldn't be. They then would not refund the 4 meals because 2 of us had started our food (cold). They could not have been less sympathetic and less helpful if they tried. We were not offered an alternative...ruined our holiday. Dreadful customer service!

I took my daughter to a sensory breakfast. Food was delicious. Staff were really friendly and great with the kids. Great value for money. Looking forward to visiting again soon to bring my daughter to the amazing New play area

Very busy, should book a table especially on a nice day, got a table for 2 without booking though. Very nice staff, good carvery and the play ground is much improved outside. Enjoyed our trip out.

Me & my partner came to the wye inn with our daughter & dog a couple of weeks ago for lunch, we had a lovely warm welcome & food was to perfection for a great price! Definitely will be coming back soon to try out the new play area’s indoor & outside!!

Lovely pub, happily take my children here, lovely food and lots to keep the children entertained with the indoor ball pit and play area, aswell as the outdoor park and mud kitchen, will always be our go to.

Was pleasantly surprised especially after reading so many bad reviews. Friendly, helpful staff. Food was very good.

Fantastic food for gluten free, the works not just one thing. The roast was really tasty. Staff were happy to help and very polite.

Had a lovely meal there today. The steak was delicious, as was the cheesecake. The service was excellent. It was a special occasion for us and we were so pleased with everything. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Service and staff were great, I loved the menu, the way the food was priced in column £6 £8 £10 etc. When the food came out, it was quick and of a great standard,. This is value for money. I should add, dog friendly pub as well.
