Such a beautiful building in a stunning setting!!I couldn't fault my stay, the staff were friendly and attentive and the room was divine. Breakfast was another level and they even gave me a gift box with some lovely local products inside.Definitely recommend staying here and will return as soon as the opportunity arises again.

Varied and well priced menu, very good food and service. Reasonably priced drinks. Lovely dining room. Excellent parking.

Pretty average, especially given what it used to be like!Visited 23/12, so peak dining time. We walked in with no staff to be found, had to go looking to track someone down. Drinks in the bar were slow and with no ales on tap (all off). Staff that were there were pretty junior and casual.Food was good, it must be said. No champagne despite being on the limited wine menu as "the order hadn't come in" (what a load of rubbish with shops down the road?) and then screw top prosecco... not very inspiring, particularly given the links with Chase, you'd hope for better!Place was pretty cold and smelt of smoke throughout after about 9pm. Many more local places are now a cut above at the same price point. A real shame!

We were lucky enough to stay in one of the suites. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely gentleman called Doug he was very personable and friendly showed us to our room.We had the top floor so had amazing views over the Malvern hills. The room is nicely done and has everything you need from bath robes to a delicious English Sparkling rose.Luke who I believe is the general manger is delightful like Doug very personable and makes you feel very comfortable with amazing cocktails which I highly recommend. The food is 10/10 I cannot recommend highly enough, it’s truly exquisite. Not only this but we had our 2 dogs with us and to have this experience is amazing. If you want to experience 5 stars with your dogs this is the place.Personally this is the best time to come in is Autumn/winter as the sound of the crackling fire, the beautiful decor, the smell of a burning fire and the amazing staff it’s hard to beat,I wish we lived closer.Keep up the great work!!!

Fantastic food, atmosphere and the cocktails were great. Out of champagne, which was surprising given we visited on 23rd December! Screw top prosecco was the alternative; nice drink itself but the screw top detracted the party atmosphere.Would visit again because of the lovely food but left slightly disappointed with the drinks situation.

We had stayed here almost 6 years ago to the day previously. Our experience this time around was at 2 ends of the spectrum . The hotel is very sad , tired and tatty around the edges . We started with such high expectations. The only room available was the small double, how bad could it be at £200 per night ... Bad !! No wardrobe or hangers .. The smell !! The receptionist described it as 'Fausty' . The worn out bed , The flat rancid pillows , The postage size poundshop towels , The luke warm shower . We tried to make the best of a bad job and asked for hangers and replacement pillows . Our complimentary hamper never materialised .We then attempted dinner , as an apology they comptd the pre dinner cocktail even though this was included in our room rate .. Dinner was a disappointment. Food was tiny and had spent too long under the hot lamps due to poor service . The best dish was the cheese . The wine list was so limited with average wine thankfully at average prices .. The dessert arrived still frozen . The staff spent the entire evening apologising .'Housekeepers on Holiday''Chefs call in sick''We're relying on agency'The inexperienced team tried their best but to quote a waiter at another table when asked about menu choices' I don't know sorry I've never tried it , but I know it's all good 'This really isn't good when charging £10+ for starters and £20+ for mains. The farce continued when they had to hunt for fresh pillows and we retired to bed . The worst night's sleep , we had to prop the window open to combat the condensation and unbearable smell of damp.We got up for breakfast and the final straw was the dirty crockery .I explained to the reception team that we were really not able to stay a second night in such circumstances , she apologised again . On checking out we still had a bill of £275 for a poor meal and dreadful nights sleep . Thankfully we were able to book the Hotel du Vin in Cheltenham for our second night .Perhaps the family need to spend some of that Diageo Cash on a much needed refurbishment

Excellent hotel, great staff, and amazing food. Quirky and classy decor. A unique experience we'd recommend.

We went for the cocktail masterclass and had Patrick, he was brilliant! So knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience even better. We then had food in the restaurant which was superb. 100% will be coming back. Thanks guys for such great hospitality, had a lovely birthday!

Stayed for one night on the 24th of June with my partner. The room was absolutely delightful - clean, light and airy with a touch of style. The restaurant was very pleasant and we had an absolutely delicious meal - great value for money. Would certainly recommend. Staff were excellent as well

Had a lovely two night stay here in one of the most laidback hotels we have stayed in. The staff were super chilled but friendly. Our room was excellent the food good and the location beautifully in the middle of nowhere!
