Perfect place to stop. Lovely quiet garden, friendly staff and treats for our dog.Food was perfect too. Well cooked fish in a light crispy batter. Freshly cooked chips. Perfection.Thank you to the staff

Fantastic fish and chips, generously portioned and a good stocked fridge of old fashioned drinks such as dandelion and burdock. What more could you want!Staff extremely friendly and accommodating allowing our group to essentially take over the den seating area opposite the shop so we could sit together as a large group with a dog and toddler. Nothing was too much trouble and made us feel right at home.Will be back without a shadow of a doubt if we're in the area again!

So apauled after many fantastic visits with previous owners and one with the new owner I went back today and the food was pitiful at best I also ordered chilly cheese bits if you can call them that no chillies what so ever inside just sweet chilli sauce to drizzle over the topupdate as requested by the owner.I will explain how my experience was pitiful ...... where to begin on my order i stated id like salt and vinegar because i like a good helping of it on my fish and chips when i got home to dig into my meal the was no salt and vinegar on any of it also the chips which where so good in the past tasted like they'd been left under the heat lamp for 30 minuets and the batter on the fish had gone solid where previously it was moist and so tender finally I had no issue with the sweet chilli sauce on the chilli cheese bits the issue is there where no chillies what so ever inside the chilli cheese bits so they are just deep fried balls of cheese with a chilli sauce not chilli cheese bits like advertised I hope this awnser your questionupdate no 2sorry I believe you miss understood my complaint i like all your other customers like fresh fish and chips unfortunately that is no what I received what I received from you establishment was stale chip and batter on my fish so solid i had issues cutting it please don't go putting words in my mouth as I've been civil and not rude at all to you.you asked what my issue was i explained and then you act very rude towards me implying that i like stale chips or solid batter when i said no such thing now unless your next reply to this is an apology towards me for your actions don't bother replyingyours sincerelyMr Rougie Bear

Never had problems with the old owners and certainly no problems with the new ones.Loved the idea of double cooked chips. Will certainly use again esp in the summer were you can have a fish and chips in there seated area then pop round the corner to the Prince of Wales.Good luck to your adventure.

Excellent vegan fish and chips.

The nicest chips and battered fish in the most pretty town. I have never had such excellent value and such kindly service from a humble fish and chip shop. A comfy private covered sitting area to the rear where pets are welcome and staff are friendly and chatty. They even have small sit in area with a toilet which was immaculately clean even that late in the evening.

Wow. This is the best fish and chips (and other food) we have had. Really wonderful friendly service, and great choice for the whole family. Definitely worth finding just off the main street, and a surprise garden area to sit down in to enjoy the food. Great value.

Fresh and clean safety area,clean counters walks n floors,crisp clean decor,easy to read menu,a separate exit after service,friendly ,hygienic staff. Food was hot and tasty,though the fish batter was soggy ,it was a nice fish inside.

Great fish and chips with a really unique menu. I tried the jackfruit burger, was really good. I would definitely recommend. Lots of room for outside dining too.

I found a hidden gem down a little alleyway opposite the Clocktower on Ledbury High Street. Owner Sue makes the most delicious flaky fish in perfectly cooked crisp batter... plenty of salt & vinegar on my please and don't forget the Irish curry sauce.. my favourite!!! Lots of veggie meals to choose from. Homemade fish cakes, sausage rolls and even vegan fish!And they deliver too.. just keeps getting better!
