Lovely location. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment. Good food, well priced. Our kids ate there's so quickly and wanted to come back.

A great pub in a spectacular location. Sat outside by the river, had a lovely meal, quick service. Need to remember to book if you wanted an inside table at busy times. Took the ferry across the river after lunch.

Lovely location.Sat down at 12.15pm, and occupancy was 50%. Coped well with service. Food arrived quickly and very tasty.Only point I'd say is parking can get tight at the bottom of the hill leading to pub. If walking there, then no problem.

We came here for the Sunday lunch today and it was absolutely delicious ! All the meat is sourced locally and everything was cooked to perfection. Haven’t had a tender lamb like this in a long time. Our waiter was also very attentive , professional and friendly. Nothing to fault here !We arrived around 12:20 which seems a good time , at 13:00 the car park was packed ! The prices are at the higher end , I believe the lamb dinner was 15,95 but it reflects in the high quality of the food.

We went here for lunch. The location is superb. I don't think I've ever been to a pub with a better outlook. The food was superb. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The pub itself was very comfortable and well presented and above all very welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

Picturesque pub in a picturesque location with a large choice of drinks and great food. Dog friendly, large carpark, family friendly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, with a great knowledge of local area which is great if you are visiting the area to walk. We loved it so much we revisited. Would highly recommend.

Popped in with my family after a walk, booked a table for five, and were seated early. The table views across the river were absolutely lovely, and the ambience was relaxed and welcoming. We all had the burger and it was delicious! I can't fault the staff - we must have interacted with about 4 members of staff and each one was charming, professional, and friendly. Thank you for such a lovely experience - would definitely recommend and am sure we will return!

Absolutely brilliant meal and drinks, with even better service. A place you'll want to come back to. If you are unsure of what to get, you can trust Steven - he makes the best recommendations and goes above and beyond. We got wild boar scotch egg, venison, beef short rib and the cheesecake for dessert. All delicious and fulfilling portions. In short, lovely service, amazing meal, fair prices.A must-go whenever in the area.

Such a lovely place. Found it while stopping for lunch on a canoe trip. Return back with the wife and stayed in one of the rooms for 2 nights.Every member of staff are professorial, thoughtful and really go out of their way to look after you.The rooms are small but all your need, after all, it's a very old building. The food is reasonably priced to above average but worth every penny. It's a little tricky driving down to the inn but confidant drivers shouldn't have an issue.I will recommend this place to as many people as I can.The views are fantastic and the walks are wonderful.

Great food; I had the roast lamb that was so big I struggled to get through it! Staff were great throughout. Limited real ales, but the two that were on were good. Prices reasonable. We were part of a large party of 22 and venue coped brilliantly. Make sure you book as this is a very popular venue.
