China King in Lichfield

Iv had one meal from China king before no taste also I'm surprised USA has not invaded for all the oil they use.......by far the worst Chinese in Lichfield

The only good thing about this place is a fast delivery. Honestly some of the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. All of it was cold. The Aromatic duck was 25% meat, 75 fat/skin. The beef in the special curry honestly was inedible….if you can imagine if Wrigleys made a beef flavour chewing gum you’d be on the right lines!The ribs were just fat and grease on a bone. I’ve seen more meat on a sparrows kneecap!I had instant regret after eating the food. Don’t go through this same pain. Get back on google and find somewhere else.

The best Chinese takeaway in Lichfield never had a bad meal sometimes service can be a bit slow at busy times but that’s to be expected . Would have been five stars but not enough sweet-and-sour sauce in your sweet-and-sour

What a lovely 80th birthday treat! I have never had a takeaway before. I ordered a set meal for 4. It arrived within 15 minutes. It was hot, a gorgeous variety, and so much that two of us had another meal the next day with chips to save wasting any of it. Absolutely Brilliant,!

Just moved to the area and this is the first Chinese I tried as they had a good vegetarian selection. Food was lovely, I had a mushroom chow mein and it was spot on! Sister and her partner also enjoyed their chicken balls and beef curry. Chips and rice were also lovely. Fast delivery and friendly staff. Would order from these again :-)

Ordered tonight, order process was fine and lovely on the phone. Waited for an hour and 1hr 25 mins later when I called to check, was told food had just left. As expected the food arrived cold, I paid and tipped the driver as it wasn’t their fault. I phoned up to say the food was cold and was told it was busy and if I wanted to send the food back that was fine. I’d already turned the oven on to warm the food up but I was expecting a warmer reaction to my complaint than “if you want to keep it that’s upto you!” I was trying to feed my son his favourite Crispy Duck and wasn’t expecting a meal I had to reheat at home......surely that’s not the idea? Need to do better, being busy is a luxury not an excuse!

As I'm not a curry sauce lover i asked if I could have a 3 in one with sweet and sour sauce instead and was met with a rude and sarcastic attitude to this not being on the menu. I didnt expect to be huffed and puffed at and been made to feel like it was too much trouble.

We were spoilt with our local Chinese restaurant when we lived in Spain, so when we relocated back to blighty we struggled to find good Chinese food and just gave up in the end preferring to cook our own. We planned on getting fish and chips one night on our way home but at the last minute we took a chance and ordered a takeaway, it was busy, always a good sign! The food is absolutely wonderful from here, we've had several takeaway's now and the food is always excellent. The staff work really hard, they cook infront of you and everything is spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

Speed of cooking was phenomenal! Is it even possible to cook a special rice in 5 minutes flat (it might have been less!) As for taste, got to say, a bit on the bland side. I must admit, I wasn't expecting broccoli & courgette in a special & I must say there wasn't as much sauce as I was used to
