Lovely presented place with a decent number of seats. Lots of staff but service slow due to the number of takeout orders being done. Have to admit, would have expected to be offered a free coffee as ours were all finished long before the food arrived. The quality of the food was pretty good though. We all had different items from the menu and all enjoyed their own. Would probably try elsewhere next time if it looks as busy.

I just love this place. I've eaten at this place twice and I haven't been disappointed. I had the roast pork previously and today I had the pie of the day. So good. So much flavour and good portions. Definitely would recommend everyone coming

Beautiful little cafe in the heart of Lichfield! The waitress was on point I've never seen such good service in a cafe before! I'd hire her in a busy Birmingham restaurant for sure. Lovely food too.

A very warm welcome as soon as you step through the door, table service with a smile, food was really lovely just what we needed after a weekend away, coffee was really nice to. Highly recommend to anyone there lunch menu looked great to will come back when in lichfield again.

An appropriate name, because it is indeed a damn fine cafe. Although I didn't eat anything more substantial than a cake, the menu looked great and the coffee was excellent. The staff were unfailingly lovely (and rather beautiful), particularly given that it was a very busy day, seating was limited and they had run out of takeaway cups. If you find yourself in the chaos that is festive Lichfield (or any other time of year) do pop in for an excellent coffee.

May be called Damn Fine Cafe, but sadly the food doesnt live up to its name.Chips have lots of bad bits and over salted, toasties are not toasted just slightly, more like a stale sandwich.First visit and wont be returning

The food here is fine, the staff are friendly and attentive - the only let down is the overwhelming smell of fried food when you enter the cafe. I realise that the kitchen needs to fry ingredients, but they really do need to invest in a decent extraction system.

Absolutely fantastic food. I used their delivery service whilst in self isolation. The food was delivered in the time they promised. The food was piping hot on delivery and have to say it was the nicest presented takeaway I have ever had.The food was very reasonably priced with lots of extras available! Excellent choice off foods to choose from. I will definitely be frequenting the cafe more often. Thanks to the staff for a great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Sitting outside, I glanced over at the bigger breakfast that was served on my neighbour's table. That's a lot of breakfast I thought. More a food challenge without the cheap winners t-shirt prize. It looked awesome: 2 bacon, a cumberland sausage, three hash browns, 2 slices of fried bread, grilled tomato, beans, mushrooms, black pudding and 2 fried eggs.My stomach was still recovering from the enslaught of cheese I had for yesterday's lunch. Else the bigger breakfast it would have been (a steal at £10). Instead an oat milk flat white was all I needed to calm the belly and warm the hands. The female staff members were attentive and humble. The rate at which breakfasts flew out of the kitchen onto peoples tables was reflective of a well run cafe.It may have been cold, but I enjoyed relaxing outside amongst the Lichfield revelers on Bird Street. As always I headed onwards to The Cheese Cavern to fill my bike's luggage compartments with France's finest.
