Family pub restaurant in Lichfield

An impromptu visit for a roast and a drink, food was excellent and served quickly on a busy afternoon. Staff were very good and friendly as always.

Went for mothers day at 1pm and the place was full and busy, but the atmosphere was great and staff were all fantastically attentive, polite and relaxed.. nothing felt stressed which is really important. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and delivered to table very quickly. The food here though was divine! By far the best roast dinner I've eaten out anywhere, ever. The lamb shank was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the accompanying vegetables were amazing and there was loads to go round all 8 of us. I've never had a decent cauliflower cheese/bake out on a Sunday in a restaurant, its always huge chunks of hard cauliflower in a tiny amount of water cheese sauce but this was exceptional... home cooked and full of sauce and flavour. I can't knock this place one bit, the whole experience was outstanding. So much so we tried to book for Christmas Day,! :)

Nice & Clean, friendly staff, the food menu prices seemed reasonable. I am a fussy eater, and didn't find much on the menu I could enjoy.I have just started enjoying my Ale's & they didn't do IPA & the Ciders they offered were limited. But otherwise it's a nice place to go, & worth going to as it may be right for you.

Met up with friends and had a wonderful meal and drinks. We went for the 2 coarse meal and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend this place, WELL DONE TO ALL.

We had a really lovely birthday meal for a 90th birthday celebration, with four generations of family! The food was fantastic and we were all served together, despite there being 27 of us, and the team were very friendly and professional! Thank you for making it special!!!

Food was great quality and the portion sizes on the mains were spot on if you like your food like me. Friendly staff despite being busy. The only improvement I could suggest was not bringing out the toddlers food last 🤦‍♂️😂

Popped in Saturday evening for a quick pint. Lovely atmosphere and ambience, bar staff seemed friendly and the punters looked happy enough with their food. Will be heading back for a meal there at some point.

A fantastic Sunday lunch! The food is top quality and delicious. The service is incredibly fast and staff are very helpful and kind. A great family afternoon. 5 stars any day!

Stopped off for a quick late lunch, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. Will go back to try the 3 course menu as it looked lovely with a good choice of courses. The light lunch we had was perfect

This was our first visit to this place, it certainly will not be our last. From the moment we walked in, to the time we walked out, we were treated to an amazing time. The service was great, but the best was yet to come. The food was absolutely fantastic, the best Sea Bass meal I've ever had. We loved our evening and cannot wait to go back. We have found a gem in Lichfield.
