Fish and Face in Lichfield

I have coeliac and this is basically the only chippie I've found that not only has gluten free (including all the proper prep necessary to make it safe) but also doesn't charge more for it. The food is really well prepared and the portions are always massive. I order from them regularly because I know it's safe.

Polite staff when ordering, quick delivery. One fish was fine but the second was dried up and certainly had been cooked and left sitting for some time. Chips were lukewarm and dry, also didn't seem very freshly cooked. Disappointing. 😞

First of all No chips on Friday eve. Secondly, My elderly dad collected the food for us and the woman serving was really rude, couldn’t be bothered with him, didn’t want to be there, he likes a chat- so what - That’s your job working in a customer service role to be polite. Don’t worry Won’t be back.

Absolutely the worst chippy I've ever had ordered £18 worth of food and I would t even give it to my dog. This is. £3.70 pasty that I bought. The food arrived freezing cold and the cost Vs portion ratio. Needless to say will never be ordering again.

From other reviews, it started really good. Completely gone downhill. Worst chippy in Lichfield. Chips were thrown in bin. Hardly any fish just batter.

I’ve ordered from fishface a lot of times. The food and service was very good to begin with but as time has gone on the quality and service has dropped drastically.- The size of the large cod is incredibly inconsistent and I’m not sure how it can be sent out confidently.- The battered sausage came with a dribble of batter on it. Might as well have ordered a regular sausage.- The food can either be red hot or stone cold. Majority of the time it’s colder.I keep ordering because I’ve liked their food in the past and the fact they deliver is useful and convenient, but there are better options. The people are nice and sweet enough but a nice demeanour isn’t going to help the food. I hope it improves for them in the future though!

1st vist was really impressed, tasty fish, crispy batter will definitely visit again

Donner Kebab and chips forgot the kebab part throw some meat onto a tray make it look like a total disaster charge £6.70 personally would avoid and go somewhere else. Twice I have ordered from them twice they have messed it up.

See Picture uploaded. 2 LARGE FISH aka size of a fork. A whopping £10.60. If I had know I'd of ordered 2x battered sausage ( same size ).Terrible food, the delivery was half hour early. Still cold! The fish was supposed to be large. If they were large. That must of been before they had a slim fast diet. Will never be ordering from this place again unless its to fill a couple of toddlers tummies.Overall terrible value for money and shall avoid at all costs. Including the rest of my family.
