Harvester - Bassets Pole in Lichfield

Yes very good, adapted to us descending upon them without a booking. Had a wait for food however we were already waiting for our guests. The management were more than happy to let our young children to mess about quietly in the corner and allowed is to have our salad bars for them before we ordered to avoid staving children meltdowns! Really enjoyed the meals, it was nicely relaxed because of letting the children eat before the rest of us which absolutely took the pressure off. Always enjoy a Harvester however this was the best, with the extra mile customer service was definitely a winner. Thank you to all the staff including the gentleman who scared and probably mentally scarred our 5 year old daughter for walking past the fruit machine in the bar. Well done for following the law and abiding by the rules, maybe not with as much passion next time.

Food acceptable and good value. Service slow even when moderately busy. Menu not really imaginative, but most people would find something they liked.

Wonderful service from GaryThe food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the shandy which was thirst quenching, i don't like drinking but this shandy didn't make me tipsy in fact I had 2.Well done to the whole team.Definitely will be coming back.

A group of us ( none of us will see 21 - or 61 again !!!!) started to meet here for lunch about once a month, when it was safe to do so . Sue and Chris have been most accommodating, ensuring we can be together , whilst enjoying good food and good company. The staff are always patient given there is so much chatter - choosing from the menus is not always a priority and everyone paying separately - we can be challenging !!!! The food is good value and hearty , I can personally recommend the camembert and cherry tomato tart. 10 0ut of 10 for service and friendliness. We will be back

The service we received this evening was nothing short of excellence, our waitress Luisa was so helpful nothing was to much trouble, she was very attentive and is a credit to your team very well done. First class service

Never have I experienced more attentive and friendly staff (special mention to Lauren). Nothing was too much bother and all staff went out of their way to make our visit great!Free Salad bar is a bonus and although you can no longer add things yourself, the staff are very generous with the portions.I had steak sandwich which was nice but the four stars and not five are because the bun was slightly soggy at the bottom and the steak a little fatty. Would definitely return!

Thank you for the wonderful Santa Breakfast. The breakfast was lovely and Santa was fantastic. The staff took time to speak to the children and Santa's helper even spoke some French too. A very happy family x

Always love the salad bar and the main meals are always well cooked. This time however it was quite chilly. There was little or no heating on. Hope it's warmer when we go on Christmas day 🙏

Bar staff seemed stressed and while waiting at the bar 2 other people were served before me. There was a few tables pulled together and a very loud and rude selection of people had occupied this space, one waitress was trying to manage them, I felt for her. Our waitress, Emma, was lovely and looked after us, but food wasn't great.
