I stumbled into Loafers in Lichfield today and though it didn't look that special from the outside they whipped up a great sandwich!From their setup I presume they make all types of sandwiches fresh to order, but I picked from a small selection of daily specials - hearty chunks of roast chicken and roasted Mediterranean vegetables, bedded on hummus, in a fresh crusty baguette. For £3.80 !Damn was it good.

Go to place for lunch. Always something nice to eat. Highly recommend and the staff are very friendly

OK, seldom do they have the salmon of late, it's my favourite. Moan over, but who came up with the idea of Tuna Nicoise for a sandwich? Whoever it was well done you!!! Really tasty and different (and a change from the salmon) brilliant idea! They had hot and spicy things today as well. Always something special at Loafers and lovely staff too.
