Malt Bar in Lichfield

Such a lovely place to be in for both food and drinks ..the cocktails are the best we've had in a long time ..The staff are great ..really welcoming .

I booked this place for a surprise birthday meal for my partner last weekend and we absolutely loved it! Couldnt recommend highly enough. Every single member of staff we spoke to or dealt with was so friendly, the atmosphere was so relaxed even though it got quite busy. The staff were just brilliant and really made our night to be honest. The food was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic and good value for a Saturday night. We will certainly be back! Just had the best roast beef and chicken! Tasty gravy, very nice roast potatoes! Well done to the Chef and team! Will be coming back soon!

Food was really nice, cocktails delicious and bar staff so welcoming and friendly. Really nice atmosphere.

Nice bar. Served up cocktails - 2 for £12 when I was there. Also, beers such Prahva , Doombar, Guinness on tap. Service was good.

I recommend checking this place out if you are in Lichfield. Very cosy with a great selection of drinks and cocktail's. Very friendly staff and very clean.

We visited this bar yesterday, we stood at the bar to be served, same as others, we waited for approximately 15 minutes to be served, the bar staff were ignoring/prioritising other customers who were either regulars or people they knew. We were ignored for an extended period of time and I had to ask why we haven't been served. Then a person who seemed to be the bar manager then took our order. This affected my overall experience at this bar.

Have been here three times recently for lunch & afternoon tea twice.Excellent food & service. The staff are very nice & nothing too much trouble.Would definitely recommend it.

We hired part of Bar 55 for my sons christening celebration. The staff were fantastic though out and really helpful. The food they put on was excellent. A really good variety, quantities and quality. Thank you so much for making our day so special! Can’t wait to come back child free for some drinks!

We held our daughters Wedding here and it was perfect. We hired the whole venue with a sit down meal, and fabulous entertainment organised by the owners. Our family could not have asked for more from the staff and management team.We provided all the room decorations and the staff had the place looking like a wedding venue in no time.I can not express how happy we where with the venue, if you are looking for a great venue with fab food drinks and hospitality then I highly recommend Wade 55.
