Lovely welcoming staff, fillet steak cooked perfectly and pate starter tasty. My son had a soup starter and salmon fillet on a bed of risotto which he found really nice he said. Enjoyable family meal in a relaxed setting. Would highly recommend.

Had a baby shower here in Nov/Dec last year with afternoon tea for about 20 people. The food was ok, the service really wasn't great and considering the restaurant seemed pretty empty it was very disappointing. Obviously people were arriving at different times but only the first to arrive were offered drinks. It was hard to get hold of wait staff due to us being upstairs so we had to wait for someone to come up or go downstairs ourselves. The sandwiches were just OK, didn't really feel like a celebration based on the food, luckily the company was fab. When the cake stands were brought out we didn't know how many people were supposed to be sharing each of them so some people didn't get the right amount of food. It didn't feel like quality food, just something bought in bulk and defrosted. Previously I've had good experiences here when dining to have a meal in the evening, I don't know if afternoon tea just isn't their thing. Wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Everyone very friendly and helpful. The central location makes it easy to access whilst visiting other regular attractions in the near vicinity.

I love this place. A friend and I went for a festive lunch. Pate to start, it was beautiful. Turkey dinner for main. Potatoes were lush, turkey was tender and not dry. Big bowl of greens to share between us. Yum. For dessert I had a baileys hot chocolate. I will definitely be returning to dine there. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Wonderful food and waiting staff are friendly however, through no fault of their own are very undertrained. There was only three toilets meaning when a large party of about 40 women arrived upstairs there was no chance of ever being able to use them. There was lovely live music playing upstairs however they kept the other music playing at a medium level meaning there were about 50 different sounds competing at once. The place has real potential however so many minor problems can only be overlooked so many times.

The food was absolutely amazing, the lamb was cooked to perfection, the potatoes were a work of art and the chocolate brownie was the best I have ever had!!!

Lovely restaurant. Shared afternoon tea here and the food was lovely. Staff are polite and attentive with a friendly attitude. The atmosphere is also great, not too noisy or too quiet. This place is fab at anytime.of the day or night!Photos were taken over half way through in case you were worried that you only got two sandwiches...
