Queens Fish & Chips in Lichfield

Great food and good value. Click and collect seem to take precedence so a walk in like me ended up waiting 15 minutes to be served.

They need to sort their extraction out !!!! I’m fed up of the smells coming from this business drifting up our road. Planning permission was granted on condition of no smells ? I’ll complain to the council yet again.

Huge portions! A large bag of chips is enough to feed a family of 4. The food is all great... apart from the peas. But otherwise excellent.

I am very disappointed that the standard seems to have slipped recently. I have rated this fish & chip shop with 5 stars in the past & use it on a regular basis but sadly the last few times have been a let down & I'm not the only one that has noticed this but other family & friends are saying the same.im not sure what's going on behind the scenes but you will lose business if the standard keeps dropping. It doesn't help with the constant turn over of staff?

My Son had a takeaway dinner last night, didn’t realise until eating his 3rd piece of chicken that it was still pink

Best Fish & Chips we've had in a long time. The batter was light, crispy and the fish sublime, chips were beautiful, portion size fantastic

The fish is wonderful and get huge portions. A wide choice of foodstuffs to choose from even battered chips!

I was only in Lichfield for my son's football match but knew there was a chippy near my Brother's house (he was away so couldn't go there)!When I pulled up there was a big queue out of the door and I nearly didn't stop as I needed to get back for the 7.30 KO!Then I thought, hang on - must be good if people will queue!What a sound decision that was, great menu, friendly staff and even the people waiting were in good spirits, not agitated.The reason was clear when I popped my first piping hot, freshly cooked chip in my mouth........ Delicious Awesomeness!!!!Give it a go even if there is a queue - well worth it! 😁😁

In my opinion the best chip shop in Lichfield. The app to order is amazing, order at home … drive over and it’s magically ready! The food is always fantastic. The staff are superb and so friendly. Keep up the awesome work.
