Ruby Cantonese Restaurant in Lichfield

Ordered for delivery through Uber Eats. Took 1hr 40 mins to be delivered. Food was mediocre and luke warm. Do not recommend take away option.

Utter garbage! Food seemed like it was 3 days old: stale, chewy and tasteless. Probably didn’t help it took an hour and 40 mins to get here from 1.2 miles away. Never again !

Great service and delicious food. Friendly staff made it an enjoyable evening.

5/5 tonight at the ruby. We had a party of 18 and all 18 had a brilliant time. Happy pleasant staff. Food was hot and tasted amazing. Sunday banquet is worth every penny.

Bought Yuk Sung as a starter, came without the lettuce... ordered a curry sauce with a chicken fried rice, came with no curry sauce. Chips were cold... the chicken fried rice was nice. Tried to call for an hr to fix the problem and couldnt get through.

Had a buffet meal with members of the Foresters last night, absolutely superb! Food was fabulous, staff impeccable and very attentive, cannot recommend highly enough Many thanks

Ordered 2 chowmeins & bbq ribs....delivered in half hour but overpriced at almost £27....the bbq ribs sauce was like a very thick jelly like gravy......the chicken chowmein was oily & greasy with chunky veg & not thinly shredded....the seafood in the other chowmein was tasteless & again greasy.

Very poor… starters were cold, dry and completely inedible. My main (prawns & veg) tasted fresh and was good but, the other 2 had gloopy over-salted sauce with very hard (probably re-heated chicken?)Will never use again for a takaway. £45 for 3 of us. Only one meal edible. Exceptionally poor :-(

The absolute best crispy chicken I had since I came back from Shanghai 5 years ago. This was really fantastic and I recommend it gladly to anyone who loves authentic Chinese food.
