The Barn in Lichfield

We visited on Easter Sunday after struggling to find anywhere that was open for breakfast. Upon arrival we were offered the option of sitting inside or out, so we sat out in the beautiful courtyard area. Service was prompt and the coffee was good. We had a full English and chorizo eggs Benedict. The food was sublime, well presented and good size portions for the price. We’ll absolutely be returning. Laura, the person that owns The Barn was lovely and has put a lot of effort into ensuring customers receive the best experience. Loved it!

We had afternoon tea here today and thoroughly enjoyed it, relaxed atmosphere and staff really friendly- the food was well presented, great mix of fresh tasty sandwiches, scones, cakes and a small delicious lemon cheesecake, value for money, best afternoon tea we have had- and we’ve had a few. Would recommend booking- thank you all at the Barn

First time visit but won't be rushing back. Table not ready (despite being booked) and seated by the door as the other table was being used for admin. My first request to move was rejected. Menu is small but the food was well cooked and allergies are catered for. Did think it was a bit overpriced for what it was.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday Brunch here! The full English was lovely and nice to know it was locally sourced meat products too. Already planning a return trip to this cosy and quaint restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic experience organising and attending a baby shower over afternoon tea at the Barn @ Swinfen. Customer service in the run-up over the phone was great and the staff were helpful in answering my questions and catering to dietary restrictions. On the day all the guests commented on the excellent location and the staff and owner were so friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious, drinks came quickly and often and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to order afternoon tea - especially as part of a larger party like ours. Thank you!

Great place, lovely staff, only had hot chocolate and scone but both were delicious!

Had afternoon tea with all the family for my birthday. It was lovely, staff were lovely and there was such a lot of food we had to ask for foil to take some home!Would definitely recommend 👍

Had a lovely veggie cooked breakfast! Everything cooked to perfection and staff were extremely pleasant! Would definitely come back.

1* is being generous... Sat down and ordered with very little issues. Was told there was a long wait on food which wasnt a problem. We were happy to wait. Two individual sets of customers arrived after us about 20 mins apart. Both of these customers were served drinks before us. We had obviously ordered before them and had been walked past on numerous occasions being the first table closest to the exit of the serving and kitchen area. Ignored and not acknowledged even though we were waiting patiently. Approached waitress and explained the issue to be told they had lost our order ticket. Sorry not good enough. You were obviously busy but too much to even notice unhappy customers right confront of your eyes... poor customer service. And yes I've worked in fast pace environments in food service and it is unacceptable.

Looked like a nice little cafe from the outside, went in and found ourselves a table, shortly after the waitress came to take our order. 2 full englishs, 1 water, 1 coke.No toilet in the resturant which i thought was a requirement to call yourself a resturant, there was however a public one on the shopping complex.The resturant was very cold aswell, as it was just a converted brick barn.Full englishs arrived about 45 minutes after we ordered. They were nice enough, ciabatta bread was a nice touch.
