The Crown, Brownhills in Lichfield

Wonderful food and service, always greeted with a smile and even though there was a small issue with one of our meals being missed it was rectified quickly and the serving staff were so good about it. The Crown has become our regular destination for both big celebrations and quick lunch dates. Thank you so much to all the team, we appreciate your hard work and professionalism. Oh, and the food is great!

Food and service was good. Thursday lunch time was busy for the staff that were serving but we still very much enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was fantastic and so was the gentleman serving the other tables.

Being totally honest, I really didn't want to go here, the last time we ate here a couple of years ago it was horrendous.However .... I'm very glad we did as the food was excellent. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and happy to help. I had the BEST jam Roly poly I have ever had today. I took one star off because we waited 47 minutes from ordering to being served but we weren't rushed out and greatly enjoyed it.

Food and service was lovely, Dawn was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Good value for money but there is not much on the menu for those with smaller appetites. We all enjoyed our meals

Had a lovely time, it was quiet but that worked for us, staff where attentive, quick to refill drinks and come over if we needed them. We where seated quickly. Food was hot and tasted perfect. Had a really enjoyable evening

We were greated by very friendly staff and they were very efficient and friendly.I noted how well they cleaned up after guests had left the table.NoteFirst time we have visited in 2 years due to pandemic. We had used to use the Crown regularly.We will certainly come again.

We visited on Friday lunch time, the young guy in the yellow shirt was excellent but did not catch his name. Service was great even though it seemed he was on his own, couldn’t do enough for us. Food was good and reasonably priced

My wife and I decided to go out today for Sunday lunch and reserved a table at the Crown in Brownhills.Our table was ready for us when we arrived and shown to it. Staff were very pleasant , polite and helpful. .The premises were clean, welcoming and friendly. The service was very prompt and we were very pleased with our meals.Overall we were very pleased with the experience and certainly plan to visit again in the very near future.

A warm welcome when we arrived. Quickly seated & drink orders taken. Food order taken when drinks arrived (we were offered more time to choose our food orders but we all knew what we wanted). Food arrived 15-20 minutes later. All perfectly cooked & very well presented. Waitress checked back a couple of minutes later to ensure we had everything we needed & that our meals were alright. We weren't rushed & had a lovely time. We opted for deserts which were all wonderful. Everything was perfect & my only complaint is I can't eat here everyday. Basically excellent service, food, surroundings as well as ambience. Can't wait to visit again.
