Visited The Dog Inn on Wednesday 30 July 2021 for an evening meal . We had phoned earlier to book a table and travelled across from visiting nearby Lichfield.The Dog is on the cross roads in Whittington with a car park to the rear of the pub. The place was busy with a lot of drop in customers eating outside in the garden. Inside was very quiet , cool and calm.

Typical country pub with snug bar.Leave your phone at home and enjoy the atmosphere.

Lovely friendly pub. Had a large family meal there for a birthday celebration, food was great, service with a smile and they went out of their way to make everything perfect. Would definitely go there again

Gigged here twice , the locals are so friendly, even wanted to help us with equipment , bar staff and owners cant do enough. Got brought coffee top ups whilst on set .

Lovely friendly pub with a homely, cosy feel. You could see it was a locals pub but we were made to feel very welcome and there was a lovely atmosphere. We didn't eat but the food looked nice and was reasonably priced. We played at the weekend there for a birthday party. Load in not very direct if you have a lot of heavy gear but set up and break down was easy and the sound was good 👍🏾 Nice place, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit 😊

Great afternoon lunch. Haven't been to The Dog for a very long time and was lucky to get a table at short notice. All staff were super friendly. Food was awesome. Will definitely be returning.
