Food fabulous and staff polite and attentive, great value for money

There was 9 of us, all ordering different meals and no one had a bad meal. The food was served all at the same time and hot. There was plenty of food, no one went hungry. We shall return:-)

Love this restaurant for all the vegan options they have on the menu, the best curry I’ve had in years well recommended. Simple honest food at a great price and don’t forget to take your own booze should that be your thing.Already looking forward to my next visit…!!

Today 10 of us went for my granddaughters 13 birthday food excellent. service first-class. price's very good . first time for some of our party but would certainly come again and recommend the Lodge Balti. Thank you

It was our first time attending this restaurant this evening to celebrate father's day. We had a great time. The service was fantastic and the food was lovely. We can't fault anything and we will certainly be back. We will not hesitate to recommend the Lodge to our family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful meal and service.

Haven’t ordered takeaway from here in a very long time due to really bad experiences. We had food that made us poorly and were offered a free meal (without drinks) - which we never took up on that but now they are telling me we never offered it!! We Thought we would try it again - it’s gone from bad to worse. The quality of the food was just appalling. The mixed grill was well over cooked to the point of burnt. The curries were sweet and lacking in flavour. The naans were burnt too. On top of that there were Errors in the order itself.We Tried to speak to the manager who stated “we cater for predominantly White people”. He told me I should have stated that I was Indian??? Really??? Wow!!! My husband is white and he thought it was a disgusting statement to make. The Manager wasn’t really helpful and was justifying that they are extremely busy and have had a successful night? A lot of people going to be disappointed tonight - unless of course you are white and don’t appreciate authentic food. They offered me £10 off my next order - anyone want it??We waited more than an hour and feel really disappointed for a Saturday night treat. A lot of money for a poor poor meal!!

Been there this evening for a meal.Very nice food, wasnt much of a wait and the service was quick.You get a fair amount of rice, so could have probably shared between two.The Lodge doesnt have an alcohol license so you are able to take your own alcohol if you want a alcoholic beverage with your meal.Meals we had this even, Chicken Dansk, Chicken Tikka Balti, Keema naans and Keema and a Pilau rice
