The Malt Shovel in Lichfield

We loved our lunchtime experience at the Malt Shovel today. The food was top notch & very good value for money. Our starters were very generous portions & we wondered if would have room for our main meal !! We had the salmon dish for our main course - it was beautifully presented and extremely tasty.The overall ambience of the Malt Shovel is fabulous, it's clean & tastefully decorated. We visited at a quiet time but could see the massive potential of the venue. Perfect food, Perfect surroundings and perfect service - what more could you ask for? Will definitely be visiting again ☺

Nice venue for a funeral. We had a nice time celebrating our friends onward journey. I'm sure it would equally be good for other celebrations. Thanks.

Very good pub they looked after me and my family at my mums funeral landlady brill at here job and all the staff thank you so much what you did for us the food was really good i will always use your pub best pub in midlands by far

Dropped in for drink. Very clean and welcoming, we weren't dining but there were customers in restaurant on a Monday lunchtime. Menu looked tempting. Very easy to chat to owners, lovely ladies.

We booked one of the teepee's for lunch and we had an awesome experience. The food was amazing and good value for money. Lots of things for the kids to do and the setting is really peaceful. Will be back very soon.

Lovely food, staff and atmosphere. Very homely, working fireplace in the lounge area.

Nice menu, something for everyone. Covid secure environment, hand sanitizer at entry/exit points and one way system. I ate outside and the service was great. I had the spicy butternut squash & quinoa burger with chips which was really good.
