"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. From the time we booked until the time we left everything was perfect. when we arrived (a little early) we were greeted with a friendly word and smile shown to our table and asked if we would like a drink while we looked at the menu after we ordered our food arrived promptly and was piping hot it was perfect and we even managed a desert much to our amazement. Truly a lovely experience and one that we will recommend to everyone and certainly one we will be repeating as soon as we can. A massive thank you to all the lovely staff.

Beers selection is limited for me as they don’t sell carling all premium beers so to speak not my cup of tea. But great atmosphere and great location with a big garden in the summer.

It is a lovely pub food good to gardens will be good for the summer time lots of space staff are willing to help with what ever you aske them would recommend 😀

This is a lovely village pub. Dee the bar maid is always so cheerful and welcoming, as was her mother, it was lovely to see her again after the shut down. The setting is peaceful and unchallenging. The cellar is marvellous, or so my husband tells me. I want to keep going there, and, to recommend it to other customers so come on Mr New Landlord make me feel welcome, please.... 🤪

Friendly pub, the meal was a bit dry for me although still nice and a reasonable selection of beers.
