The Plough Inn Huddlesford in Lichfield

Evidently popular Inn. Friendly helpful staff. Chose the smaller size fish and chips which was more than big enough. Tasty meals. Coffee service from 11am.

Came here last night and it was an overall okay experience. There weren't any tables inside but the staff said we could sit outside which was fine with us as we didn't call ahead. We ordered inside and weren't told anything about a wait. After 40 minutes had passed we went inside to ask about the wait. Theu said for the first time that it would be a 40-50 minute wait. Finally after and hour and a half our order came. We had ordered two pizzas, one vegan, one not. When they brought them out they had no idea which one was which and the vegan one had to be remade to ensure it was vegan. I'm happy to wait for my food but people should be informed of the estimated wait when ordering. Also, if the wait is that long they theu shouldn't keep seating people and letting them sit outside. If the kitchen can't handle it, why keep adding to it? When we finally did get our food it was delicious, completely 10/10. It was just a shame about the wait. The staff could have done better, informing us of the wait, knowing what they're giving us. We also barely got an apology for all of this. The pub is in such a good location with lovely food so I'll probably be back, I just hope everything is dealt with better next time

Great service and fab food. Fitted us in at short notice for a group of 7 and we all had great food. The serving staff were knowledge about the food, wine and drinks selections and were very helpful. Will definitely be going back!

It’s always a pleasure to have lunch at this pub. The staff are always friendly and very welcoming.Lovely decorated with friendly atmosphere. Staff always welcome our dog with a bowl of water.Totally recommend this pub.

Nice place, good service and lovely fresh food. First and only time there, not local to me normally but will certainly go there again if nearby. Pizzas are delicious and a good size, no need for anything else to "make up" the meal. Well done 'The Plough'.
