Now owned by black country pub chain the pub has been transformed into a great place for you to drink and chat with friends, vast choice beers.

Nice beer garden, clean and friendly. Water facility for the dogs.

I like more modern bars, but tried this as it was close by. Good range of drinks on tap and willing to give a little taster to see if you like which is good before you buy. Don't serve food, but do have sandwiches, which I thought was good. They also have live music which I thought was a good touch

Really lovely BCA pub with an impressive array of beers on tap (usually around 20). Pub snacks (pork pies, scotch eggs, cobs) very nice, and drinks are very good value for money.Recently renovated and always very clean. The only downside is it's just that bit far away from us, so it's a treat more than a local pub for where we live.A firm favourite in the winter when the log fires are lit!

Great pub if you like real ale and hand pull ciders. 👍🏻 But best of all lovely staff… especially Jeana (sorry if I’ve spelt your name wrong) , Luke & Jane. All three take time to chat to us and make us and our dog Freddie very welcome. Freddie drags us into the pub for dog biscuits and is always extremely happy if Jeana, Jane & Luke are behind the bar 😊😊.

Nice local pub. Superb selection of ales. Well recommended just to try the different beers they have on.

·

Fantastic pub A good choice of Beer 🍺 friendly staff not too expensive just a lovely local pub

·

Tasted one ale that was sour, barman suggested pig on the wall lovely ale, don't understand how they can keep 16 ales fresh, or maybe they can't

·

A clean and spacious pub with an interesting history.I had a chat with the relief manager about the ales and settled for a very good Salopian. Whilst there some glasses clinked together. Apparently, this often happens a.f is due to the pub being haunted. The glasses clinked together whilst the relief manager was talking about the history of the pub. Soon afterwards the main door opened and slammed!I will return and sample a couple of the cobs and other pubs in the vicinity.

Great place to go. Spacious inside and great choice of beers. Best proper pub in the area ( not a licence restaurant) great to go to.
