Walkabout in Lichfield

Nice barstaff. The actual burger itself was nice and juicy but the bun was a bit... I can't describe it. The chips tasted as though they were cooked in old oil and my friend couldn't eat his burger. Dog ate it though. Dog friendly hence the 4 stars but wouldn't really choose to come here again.

Had a brilliant time tonight. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Emily really made us feel welcome and encouraged me to up my pool abilities!

One of the only venues you can have a dance on a night out in Lichfield. For the most part it's good, however at peak times you'll quickly find yourself queueing for drinks rather than dancing. The second bar upstairs does usually relieve some pressure however..Couldn't give you a select age range, one and all are welcome in walkabout which to be honest, is quite nice to see. This usually has an influence on the music that's played too, with songs to suit the crowd.

Was at a friend's wedding where the bar shut at like 2330, someone said walkabout is open until 3 so off we went.Even though it was packed we could get to the bar easy, no hassle from anyone in there and a decent friendly vibe.Only downside (if you can call it that) cost a fiver to get in but well worth it

Absolutely wonderful experience! Had such a great laugh! Bar staff were great along with the doormen! Especially the toilet attendant! He went above and beyond to help me out! What a complete and genuine guy! We need more people like him! Can’t wait for me next visit and hopefully he’s on with more lolly pops!! Loved the night!!

Me and a friend came in for a meal and a pint, we was greated with a big smile off the bar staff they were all lovely and very helpful. The decor is fantastic, the food arrived quickly and the all day breakfast was perfectly cooked. Would highly recommended.

Went to Walkabout Lichfield for some lunch today in between some shopping and it was so good! The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. It was quite busy with the good weather but the food came out so quickly, piping hot and there was nothing to fault. Brilliant pub and environment and will definitely visit again. Team were very friendly and brilliant service.

Door staff need more training in how to handle situations. They completely ruined a nice night out as 1 person from my group left the premises they then decided to ask me to leave when I spoke with them they wouldn't answer me and were extremely rude police were outside only to inform me that they can't do anything as it is a private premises the door staff can do what they like. Outside door staff advised that if one person decides someone needs to leave they can't do anything, we ended up at another establishment and saw multiple people kicked out making room for people at the door to pay for entry, totally unprofessional

Good number of screens around the place for watching sports during the day. The resolution of the screens weren't great though. They also refused to put the cricket on, which seems a bit odd for an Australian themed sports bar.The food was very average but the portion sizes were obscene. Quantity over quality but can't complain for the prices you pay.

Deceptively large Walkabout that's two tiered and includes a balcony. Not quite on par with the one in Birmingham, but did have a Brewdog in tap that I hadn't tried before
