Wych Elm in Lichfield

I have been 4 times to the Wych Elm .and had wonderful service from Jan each time .The meal is always delicious and Jan is particularly kind to my Mum who is partially sighted and ensures that we have a table in the light area .We like table 18 .We have the 3 course lunch club meal and it has always been perfect .We will be back again very soon .Thank you all .

I have never ever experienced such fantastic service from a pub, the staff are so friendly and offer great hospitality. The food is always beautifully cooked as well as served. The regulars are always easy to talk to and are always laughing and having a good time. It is such a wonderful feeling to know ur local pub is safe for your children to come and eat in and play on the wonderful park equipment outside. Not to mention the lovely beer garden. I will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the wych elm this afternoon. The staff and service were impeccable. The rump steak was cooked to perfection which is something I rarely receive so 100% recommend. Lauren and Ryan were fantastic, thank you for a truly pleasurable experience

Visited here for a carvery food was low standards the stuffing was hard and had a funny texture to it wasn't edible at all. The meat was under cooked like and the staff are more interested in the customers at the bar never will be returning here again. Also not very nice customers sat at the bar very loud when you're trying to eat food disgusting

Atmosphere is chill and cool — the staffs are also really friendly & welcoming. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. 10/10 would recommend!

Visited today for a lunch food was great, ordered a medium steak which was cooked perfectly. The staff where welcoming and friendly. Great place.

Had a great family lunch yesterday, the the portion was generous and the burger was great. The new managers at this pub are getting it right. Can't wait till they bring back the Carvery. The staff where friendly and helpful. Lovely place. Will be back.

Visited Easter Monday,the woman serving was more interested in gossiping with regulars.the food was below standard,my husband wanted a mixed grill that was well done but some of it was nearly cooked some was cold,the sausage was still oinking,the food quality was cheap.My husband has been poorly within 24 hours of eating in this place,we won't be using this place again.

I went to the Wynch Elm with visiting relatives who I had not seen for a good while, so I wanted to treat them to a very special meal. There was four of us in all, and we sat at the table and looked at a very varied and interesting and nicely presented menu and placed the order. A while later a pleasant waitress turned up with our food and a smile. I must say that after my experience of many years eating out and I'm now 80, I have never enjoyed such a marvellous meal which was a cauliflower curry. It was delicious and there was plenty of it to fill me up, As I tucked in I asked my relatives if they were enjoying theres' who chose something different, but they were so engrossed enjoying every mouthful they almost didn't hear me, then I suddenly got a resounding response, of "fantastic! . Not only was the food great and of high quality, in fact perfect, but the atmosphere and staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes eating out can be a bit risky, and even disappointing. Either the food wasn't very good or the place rather cold and unfriendly, which has sometimes been my experience in the past, but I cant praise this place enough and will always go there from now on and take my friends and family.

Wasn't told until half an hour after ordering and paying for my meal it wasn't available. So had vegetarian curry that was complete with boiled new potatoes - skin on - that weren't cooked properly. Soggy naan bread, greasy poppadom, and random dried out garlic bread. Starter of Nachos had no jalapeños and were smothered in squirty sour cream, guacamole and some sort of chilli sauce. Vile meal. Avoid like the covid...
