We visited the gardens and garden centre today and really enjoyed it. There are lots of free parking spaces and the stroll around the garden was very pleasant and is easily accessable. The garden is planted to make the most of each season. At the time of our visit the blossom trees where in full display. The garden centre is well stocked and we had a delicious snack in the cafe. The salad was fresh and tasty not like others we have come across. You can also take your dog around the gardens, into the garden centre and the cafe, which is a bonus.

Cafe nice and clean, not much hit food. Friendly staff and bought a couple of bargains in the sake. Shame the architectural stuff was not open. Nice drive out in the sunshine

Went yesterday for lunch at 1345, very disappointed, menu was a waste of time, only egg sandwiches and toasties available. Note: egg sandwiches were the special of the day. Unbelievable!

Garden centre great. Be careful of the pot holes on the way down to it

Not a pleasure in the cafe today. Had the peace interrupted by people using the cafe as their office and make telephone calls, loudly on speaker. Coffee was good though.

Very nice place indeed. Went for coffee and cake and the garden centre on site. A classic Georgian house (closed to visitors currently) in wonderful surroundings. Picturesque duck pond in front and wonderful church nearby. Full of history. A good visit for young and old. Car parking plentiful and easy.
