Great evening at Corse Lawn. Room was spacious and comfortable. Fresh fruit & milk with homemade shortbread, a whole cookie jar full.Lovely setting.Bistro food was superb and great value on the tdh menu. Amazing wine list, wines from across the world with plenty of choice.I got back to my room to find curtains drawn, bed turned down and side lights on. A nice touch although after spending so many nights in hotels and never having this before I'm not sure on it.Breakfast was freshly cooked and accompanied by what I assume is homemade bread, as was dinner.Highly recommended.

A really lovely romantic restaurant with good quality food

Really nice place. Quite old fashioned decor but that is the theme of the place. There were lots of older guests and we felt quite young in comparison (we are 38) but it was not an issue in any way.We really enjoyed the pool. Was a bit chilly in there as the area around the pool isn't heated. But was still great fun and the pool was warm.

Visited Corse Lawn for an evening meal with family. The food was excellent...classic dishes that were well cooked and presented. Service was also great. Interior decoration is classic / traditional / old fashioned. Not to my taste but did not distract from a great evening.

·

An old coaching inn which is now a small family owned and run hotel with a core of staff who have been here for many years. The restaurant menu is excellent; the wine list is extensive (to say the least!) and superb. A quiet, relaxing venue with proper, old-fashioned customer service.

A beautiful setting with its own helicopter pad. Attentive staff and a great menu.

·

A brilliant hotel in a brilliant location. Customer service and attention to detail was excellent. Particularly loved the croquet lawn and tennis with equipment alongside, the pool was also good (although slightly on the cold side!) Great atmosphere in the lounge areas and bistro, great breakfast and excellent food in the restaurant including a well priced set menu.

I spend my business life in hotels around the world and therefore my assessment of this fine hotel is based purely on global experience of the good, bad and really ugly of hotel accommodation and service.Everything is good about Corse Lawn Hotel. The ambience, setting, genuine staff attention, food and wines fit for Michelin mention, and room appointments, are really excellent. A true delight for a traveller.Highly recommended, satisfaction guaranteed.

I booked this hotel with groupon a few months ago. What can I say? The service is second to none. My husband came with me knowing he wasn't very well. But he has said he couldn't think of a place to be more comfortable in. The meal was delicious with starter, main and dessert. I had the liver parfait, lamb trio and caramel ice cream, which was to die for.The room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. And the room was spotlessly clean. With fresh tea and coffee on tap and fruit and real shortbread. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and shall be returning when my husband has recovered. Many thanks.
