Great food, fabulous friendly staff and lovely beer. Thank you

Not sure what the other reviewers were eating but we went here yesterday and food was terrible. We both ordered cheese burgers and honestly felt we could have made better at home. Quickest meal we have ever eaten as just wanted to go. Wouldn't return

Been a few times, atmospheres nice, location is pretty, staff very friendly. Beer garden well set out, play area for kidsFood isn't the best though, and there's very limited vegetarian optionsOrdered a cup of tea and I think the tea had been made with water that wasn't boiling as it had a weird foam on top, and it just didn't infuse properly. Didn't drink it.I had a jacket potato with beans, and a side of garlic bread. The potato was nice, but the garlic bread was horrid. Seemed like it had been cooked, left to cool down and then microwaved, so it was all spongy/soggy on the bottom where it had been touching the plate. My partners chicken curry wasn't the best either.Over all, I'd say its a nice place to stop for a drink (as long as you don't order a tea) but I'd give the food a miss.

Great pub been using it for over 35 years when caravaning in the area.

The Farmers Arms at Birtsmorton is A REAL GEM OF A PUB!!!. The premises are ancient, yet unique but the staff are very modern and on the ball. The choice of beers and ciders is great and really well kept. The interior is gorgeous olde worlde. The pub serves food, which is very good and, if only the pub was nearer to me, I'd be in there every night. Wonderful pub!!!!

Very attractive pub with lots of covered seating outside.Good beers.Limited menu. What we wanted wasn't available but what we ordered came quickly and tasted good

Fantastic old style pub serving a good selection of beers also lager and very dog friendly. Food was excellent, we called in whilst staying at redbrick barn for a quick bite a drink and ended up spending most of the evening there. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Have been rwice now in 3 days and aim to visit again.

Had a weekend away, and luckily found this pub just down the road... How lucky we were.Felt very welcoming and friendly. I felt could have spent the whole day chatting with staff and customers. Great drinks selection, and I imagine the food would be just as good.A pub in the true sense of the word.

Lovely old country pub with wooden beams. They have a brilliant drink selection with a variety of local beers and ciders. The staff are friendly and happy to help. They serve basic pub food, though it really isn't brilliant. I wouldn't eat there again. I had a beef burger and chips, the burger was thin and bland and the chips weren't completely cooked through. My husband has a beef pie which looked like it came out of a packed and was also quite tasteless.
