Friendly bar staff. Plenty of rooms with different aspects. Next to the river so you could sit outside and enjoy the scenery and the boats. Large car park.

We spent a day on the river and stopped here for lunch. Staff were very welcoming, the carvery was tasty and it was good value. 👍

·

Food very good , although poor choice of lunchtime menu,, long wait for food 40 mins+. Seems standards have dropped since last time we visited. Will try again and hope for an improvement in the service, and choice !!!

Shocking service, food was OK but grossly overpriced. Their answer to my plate being flooded with vinegar because of a defective vinegar bottle was napkins.Coffees ordered never came. Worst £76 I ever spent.

A very enjoyable stay with friendly staff. Lovely location overlooking the River Severn. The hotel was clean though the room and en suite we stayed in was looking rather tired but we overlooked that as was very clean.

·

Beautiful location. Only popped in with my partner for a pint but we will definitely go back! Friendly man who served us too. Thanks

Worst Sunday dinner I have had for many years. The place was quiet, and on Fathers day so suprised. The meal was the Carvery x 2 plus 2 drinks, price £25 and a few pence, so pretty low. The place is bland, more like a village hall but we were there for dinner so not that bothered. The meat was carved off, I thought it rather bloody but didnt say anything, there were no roast potatoes and the chap serving didnt know when there would be more. There were no plates so he had some brought over. The vegetables were running down only a few and we were there with an hour and a half to spare. We took what veg they had and I had 2 boiled potatoes and some Cauliflower mush, it was overcooked. We went to the table and started to eat, the potatoe was cold, the cabbage was cold and the Cauliflower cheese was overdone. The stuffing balls were overdone, none would have bothered we that much but the meat was the main issue. My wife likes Beef rare, this wasnt rare it was cold and raw in the middle, I mean totally uncooked. The fat on the outside was near uncooked as well. We live in France, even there Roast Beef is cooked more. I left it, my wife ate a little but felt sick. The waitress came over and asked if everything was ok. We said no and started to tell her, she said sorry and turned away. If you dont want to know dont ask. I went to pay, I waited to be asked if everything was ok, neither said a word and just took the money on my card. I then said to the man taking the money, 'could I suggest you cook the beef, it was raw'. He said sorry and also turned away. Service abysmal and clearly the Inn doesnt want return custom, very poor.

Lovely pub with rooms next to the river Severn, camping field next to the pub. Excellent breakfast & carvery. Only 4 miles from witley court with its famous fountain, close to Bewdley & Worcester.

Fabulous place, staff, food and service, all great. Right on the River Severn with lovely views. Off the beaten track, so need a car unless you're happy to walk, did see a bus stop near by. Will definitely make an effort to visit again. Highly recommend.
