room on ground floor, with large window ,small sash opening. no privacy as people walking up pathway at the side about 6 feet from window!!!room stifling hot . Need ventilation nowadays.Waited 20 minutes at breakfast for porridge. the chef might consider putting the sugar in a side bowl, so client can determine the amount of sugar for themselves ?.perhaps friut to accompany it?.Bathroom very tired ,mouldly

Great hotel with loads of character. Don't expect a hotel built in recent years, it does have it's quirks. The breakfast service and the food was amazing 👏.

The hotel communal areas are nice with a pleasant bar and restaurant area to sit in. The bar has a good selection of beers as well. The room was ok - I've stayed in the hotel a number of times and this time upgraded my room to a superior double, but didn't feel I got anything more for my money other than a view of the priory. The biggest disappointment is the breakfast. Full English on the first day was all overcooked. Fried egg like rubber, bacon rock hard and black pudding extremely dry. The whole breakfast left me needing about 6 cups of coffee to wash it down. I also think the idea of only bringing one cup of coffee instead of a larger cafetiere needs a rethink as most people are going to want more than one cup in the morning. Next morning I went for scrambled egg and smoked salmon and it was a tiny portion with the scrambled egg overcooked again. I didn't have dinner in the hotel because of my breakfast experience so can't comment.Staff are very friendly and accommodating, with a better breakfast I would definitely increase my stars!

Absolutely brilliant stay! Staff were great, very friendly - the head waiter in particular was superb! Great base for walking the hills with stunning views!

Very lovely atmosphere in The Mulberry Tree (the hotels bar and restaurant). Not sure about the ale (Atlantic - maybe it was off?), but on the whole it was very nice. Will be back to try a different drink next time!

Fantastic experience, excellent location, staff very kind and friendly and very close to the amazing malvern hills. Also the breakfast was amazing and I will recommend full English breakfast. Will definitely stay again

Excellent location. Room clean and well equipped. Restaurant and bar are very good. Breakfast was outstanding; salmon and scrambled eggs are to die for! Multiple levels and lack of lift might be an issue for some, but didn't bother us. Would stay again.

Spent a pleasant night at this hotel. Clean comfortable room, if a little sparsely decorated. Great location for Malvern and the hills. Great view out of the front window. Though some traffic noise as no double glazing. Quiet enough during the night. Staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Could do with some lounge furniture in the bar.

I ve recently started to come back into The Mount Pleasant since my wife and I moved back into the town again. I must say I think there is a tremendous improvement in the ambiance of this place. The staff are great, the beer cracking and the Sunday lunch yesterday was lovely. My wife ate hers quicker than me she enjoyed it so much. Many thanks to everyone concerned. Well done.

I generally stay here when visiting Malvern. Big rooms/bathrooms and great location at the top of Church Street. The breakfast is served at your table and is excellent, particularly the "Full English". I didn't need lunch after this breakfast. My only small gripe is they could be more generous with the shampoo/shower gel, just a small tube supplied.
