We needed to find a sunday pub lunch on our journey back home after a weekend away and this beautiful pub with excellent food and massive portions did not let us down! We were made to feel very welcome and sampled each of the meat Sunday roasts between us. All excellent. The roasties were one of the best I've ever had. Roast beef cooked to perfection, chicken lovely and mosit and the pork just perfect. Apple crumble was huge but again lovely. Prices very reasonable for the amount of food. Thank you for a lovely end to our weekend away.

Our second visit. First was so good we had to come back! Excellent food--tasty, well presented and creative. We were made very welcome, and looked after in a highly efficient but very personal and friendly way. Whole meal was a delightful experience.

Went to Bearfest last weekend and had a fantastic day. All the bands were great, especially Witcher and all profits went to Midland Air Ambulance. Great cause!! Food was excellent and all the staff worked very hard. Top job!!!

Fantastic food, friendly atmosphere.Attentive service - despite being part of a group of 16.The pause between courses was perfect and the waitress service unobtrusive. Many of the meals had tweaks and different items left off and the right plate went to the right person each time.
