I did a 10 mile trek across the Malverns with my two Dalmatians. It turned into quite a hot day and by midday we needed to get off the hills and get some shade. I've been to the Wyche Inn a few times and always enjoyed being there so usually park close by. I ended up ordering a cheese and onion ciabatta with fries and salad, a pint of ale and a glass of water. I sat in the garden and chatted to some of the other customers there - it's a very friendly place. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was superb, and the ale was very nice too. Price-wise it cost me £12 which is more than reasonable for decent food and drink in a great location. I am planning to take the dogs out up there regularly, and return to the inn to order the same food and drink again!

As soon as we entered it felt as though we were being stared at, as though we had intruded. Some of us had used the toilets coming back from our walk and we were waiting for the kitchen to open in the next 6 minutes so we could order some food. Our youngest opened a packet a crisp, which fair enough isn't allowed as they serve food. However a staff member later sniped at us that she was wound up over the crisps, and that we all EACH had to order something (a group of 7) or that we had to leave, because it is not a place of 'refuge'. Now, we had planned to order a few portions of chips when the restaurant opened and share them with some soft drinks, but we were basically told to leave at that point because we were sitting and waiting. It felt very unwelcoming and a bit unnerving as we are some international students visiting the lovely place of Malvern, and it felt as though we were being spoken down to. I can understand only wanting paying customers but it isn't right to intimidate potential customers, and really no pub, bar, restaurant usually has such a policy where every single person needs to buy a different item. To us, it felt like they just wanted us out of there. Maybe I could understand if we were being rowdy but we are simply POC medical students going hiking after exams.

Great food and service. Big portions yet beautifully presented. Perfectly located for a leisurely lunch after walking up the Malverns at Beacon Road.

Good honest food with great customer service! Went to a large leading steak outlet last week. Had a steak here tonight. Tonight's steak was up there with it . Just less money. Gets my vote!

I can honestly say that was the best meal I have had in a restaurant for a long time, brilliant food. It was all cooked to perfection and the flavours were delicious.I am a stickler for cleanliness, I couldn't see a single cobweb, my dust finger test along the ledges where we were sat and the window sills were spotless and so were the underneath of the tables and chairs.I did notice 2 cobwebs and a slight bit of dust on the window sill in the toilet, the toilet and sinks were so clean you could eat your dinner off them. The food was excellent 10 out of 10Waiting staff excellent they left you to enjoy your meal before asking if the food was ok 10 out of 10The restaurant s cleanliness 10 out of 10The toilet, the 2 cobwebs and dust on the window sill, let it down just a bit 9 and 3 quarters out of 10Overall excellent place to go ! Highly recommend you pop in when you are in Malvern The Wyche Inn number 1 !!!

Extremely disappointed! I had been looking forward to staying here for weeks! But the apartment was freezing when we arrived and didn't really warm up much, we were told at breakfast that there was a party booked that night which they should have told us as we checked in as we would have stayed somewhere else (with my 5 month old) and there were someone's dirty pants found when I dropped something behind a drawer. Made the owner aware and they really didn't seem to care. All in all, was not worth the money, would not stay again. The view was spectacular but certainly not worth £100 a night.

What an awesome little place along one of the most amazing walks with the most amazing views thank you for the great service and refreshing drinks for us and Doggi ice cream.

The food at this pub exquisite. The chef's specials made the whole family feel so relaxed at the end of a long day of hikes.
