Stopped into this place on the way back from visiting friends and it was such a gorgeous site. We popped to the farm shop primarily to see what was on offer. There is a huge selection of products from local businesses from beer to relishes. There were lots of organic food with lots also catered to food intolerances too. Overall a really lovely shop. The only down fall is I would have liked to have seen more fresh goods on sale.On site there was a lovely cafe, a therapy centre and art studios. I noticed on the way out they had a few nature trails too which I will be back to wander around next time. The site had a large carpark to the rear which was a bonus. All in all worth a visit and will be back to explore the trails.

Literally a hidden gem! šŸ’ŽAmazing veggie/vegan menu including the biggest pain au chocolat I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to return to explore the trails in the sunshine and explore the menu more!Vegan chocolate fudge cake and vegan pain au chocolat with oat milk tea was perfect šŸ’›

Really nice walk round the nature trails (can't comment on the shops, cafe, etc). Well sign posted, with several information boards. 3 separate trails (Lake, Railway and Riverside) that are all short and completed within an easy single walk. Also, as a bonus, you can go down to a small stoney beach for a swim in the Teme

Lovely walks. Nice looking cafe, but firstly my soup was indifferent and somewhat undercooked - who wants crunchy beetroot soup ? Secondly I have an issue with the staff. I stood at the counter , hardly a metre away from a female staff member(who seemed to think rather a lot of herself) who proceeded to studiously ignore me for several minutes. I am not a young tearaway , I am a respectable, polite, disabled 74 year old with a walking stick. In fact the young woman server never did acknowledge me and walked away leaving me to be attended to by a pleasant young man whose manner(if not words) was very apologetic - seemingly he’s used to ā€˜madam’ swanning around ignoring customers. Who wants customers eh? They just get in the way, it’s not as if customer’s money pays the wages, is it ?I live locally and walk there often, so I thought I would try the cafe. Once is enough. I won’t be back.

We heard so many nice recommendations to visit here, so me and my family jumped in the car, when we arrived the place was well laid out and the restaurant was clean and welcoming, Gluten Free & Vegan option were on the menu so we were very impressed, the toilets were also clean and tables were well placed. The only reason i haven't gone with a full five stars is when we went to order we asked about how the food was cooked and about cross contamination so as we could decide if we can order food for our children and we had short answers with no explanation so we just decided to get cake and drinks instead it hasn't put us off but our confidence in cross contamination is low as my wife and children have Coeliac Disease. All in all the staff were polite :) (UPDATED 11th Jun 2021) After having a nice reply from the new team to my review, myself and my wife discussed and have decided to make a trip to The Fold with the kids on one of the weekends, Thank you for the update :)

Lovely walk. The cafƩ looks great, but a bit limited for children.

Stunning walks on their nature trail. The lake is lovely and you could even see large fish swimming about enjoying their day. Railway walk is a cute wooded walk with lots to look at. Will be back soon :)

Friendly staff and top quality drinks and cake in beautiful surroundings. We are vegan and were happy to have the choice of 3 plant based milks (soya, almond and oat). We also enjoyed the chocolate and courgette cake which was hands down the best choc cake I have ever eaten vegan or not.It is a tad on the expensive side - for 2 coffees and 2 pieces of cake it came to just over £11. Would definitely recommend and go again though. The surrounding walks are lovely and the farm shop is well stocked. Parking is also free.

Just back from a lovely ā€˜Supper Evening’ with a few friends. Pre-ordered the choices (nice idea - don’t have to waste the first half-hour deciding what everyone’s having :)). Mackerel starter lovely and Beef for mains. Small (but great) choice of beer, wine, gins etc.) Lovely coffee. Staff all friendly - and love the building!
