Found this place when looking in the area for camping sites. Really pleased we gave it a go. The lady who runs both was lovely and really helpful. Very easy going. Site was small but the potches were big. Ate in the pub in the evening and it was very good quality and the menu was varied. Big portions as well. Sure and pub are dog friendly. Highly recommended @

Site is lovely but cleanliness of it is not up to scratch lady's shower is to hot as you would get scolded so not safe for children. Toilets not cleaned every day and also no facilities to wash your dishes as no hot water. Pub and food is excellent 👌

I went to The Hunters Inn on recommendation from my parents (who often visit it when they’re staying on holiday in North Devon) and I’m honestly not exaggerating in the slightest in staying that its chefs do the BEST cheeseburgers I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. I’m not writing this as someone connected with the pub in any way. I’m from the Midlands and felt compelled to write a review based on my experiences there the last three years I’ve been. It’s a also a lovely little pub which really makes you feel like you’re really away from the real world. Lovely staff and beautifully decorated with vintage pairings and furniture. Highly recommended! Thanks again to the dedicated team of chefs especially!

We were staying in the area for a couple of days, and came upon this pub. We wanted a light lunch. We can highly recommend the baguette with steak and Stilton cheese served with a lovely fresh salad - it was so good. Lovely cosy pub, immaculately clean and welcoming. We would love to go back and work our way through the range of baguettes on offer!!

We are here for a 60th birthday meal and all I can say is WOW.There is 8 of us and every single course came out together and hot. The food was to die for and the service impeccable. To top it all off we are camping in the grounds of the pub so only have to walk through the garden.5 stars are not enough.

Had a great 3nights camping here with our friends and family. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Had the carvery on Sunday. Has to be one of the tastiest lunches I have ever had. Thankyou all.

Stayed on site for 1 week, lovely pub with excellent food , Sunday carvary was beautiful.Drinks a little pricey but good.Basic carpark camping with 2 portacabin type toilets available and a shower ( spotlessly clean ) the site area was very dark and could do with better lighting, the electric run on a meter so works out quite expensive for a week.Advertised an onsite butchers shop but there wasn't one.Easy short drive to Tewkesbury and other local villages.Grassed areas were very wet but there had been some storms.Dogs welcome but no where to really walk them.

Great to find a small campsite next to a pub, out of season. You know when the food is good for people to travel miles to go there. Not only was the food amazing but so was the draft beers available and the selection of wines.Would definitely go again.

·

Amazing food, great beer, good value for money, efficient and polite service. So good we are going back tomorrow night. Highly recommended.

We had booked a camping pitch which is managed by the pub, and decided to eat there as well. Food was excellent, and value for money, staff helpful and friendly. To eat you really need to book as it's very popular with the locals. Camping pitch was good, electric and water available. Only reason for four stars, storm Denis. 🤗
