Very poor this pub, landlady was very rude to us and another couple after us. They didn't except payment card's and no signage to state this so don't order anything unless you have cash, and I believe we do live in the 21st century. Dirty and scruffy pub could do with a clean, fortunately we had some money on us so had the fastest drink in history and left. We should have walked out as soon as she spoke to us the way she did. 👎👎👎👎

Had a very bad experience here. As soon as we walked through the door we asked the barman if they were dog friendly and the barman said they were (who was very friendly and we got on very well with) but then later on after ordering at the bar for another drink the bar there was a lady who I assume was the owner was very rude to our dog not allowing him to say hello to two people who were sat near the bar (my dog is very friendly and well behaved) telling us he must sit at all times, will not be attending here again, not friendly at all would not recommend, it quiet for a reason! Avoid!

We have been here many times,always very friendly,the food and drink extremely good,big meals,fair prices..will be there again once we consider it safe to do so

First time there and what a lovely old pub had plaice and chips and could not fault it .Very large collection of various mugs .loved it very friendly landlady definitely go again

Gone down hill since I was last there, food was terrible, place was freezing, won't be going back there again

Just had Sunday lunch. Food was amazing and Mark was very friendly..... nothing too much trouble.

Fantastic food, interesting decor

Very friendly people, interesting decor with over 2000 mugs hanging from the ceilings! Delicious feed, generous portions and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back

We just popped in for a quick drink. Very nice old pub with quirky mad o Rourkes decor. Friendly staff. I will visit again when in the area to sample the food.
