Yates Hay Fish Bar in Malvern Hills

Staff very friendly. But unfortunately I don't understand the high rating. Our chips were old and dry. The sausages had been kept warm for a long time and almost hard ( should have been thrown away) also a lot of black bits in the chips, which should have been cut out. Expect a few but this was a lot.

Had fish n chips, chips ok though soft, fish cooked but batter soft and doughy, wasn't cooked inside. Not good, expected better for sixteen quid.

Chips not great. Very dry. Couldn’t even get a simple chips with salt and vinegar order right! Malvern Link fish bar and Barnards Green much nicer food.

Said to be the best and cheapest fish & chips in Malvern. And .......it is. Well worth a visit.

Visiting area for weekend wanted fish and chips found this little gem , fab fish and chips huge portions, friendly staff even gave us a sausage for the dogs !

Very good but do you really have you use polystyrene containers!!! Just wrap them in paper like years ago, its so bad for the environment, plus twice now my husband said no polystyrene and there it was

Having been pretty poorly last few weeks, my appetite came back and fish and chips was in order! Since discovering you are my local you are definitely the place to go. Service was great and all staff smiling and friendly. Ordered fish and chips with mushy peas and shared with my daughter. Absolutely delicious 😋

You know what? They were busy. It was 12 and they'd just opened. There was already a queue of 4 in front of me. I wanted 5 meals. They did them really fast. I loved the fish and chips. Price was good. Top marks!
