I've been using the Agra since 1987, it's mostly been ok, apart from the odd cold chips, soggy poppadoms, wrong orders etc I've been mostly tolerant because my friend works there, I've spent over thirty pounds there tonight, I've had an omelette in my biryani, my mushrooms were bland as, when I rang up to complain, the person on the other end of the phone gave me loads of attitude and was very demeaning and told me that I don't know anything! At which point I said I thought the customer was always right, or at least commands respect, I'd just paid thirty odd quid! His response was "yeah, alright" then he put the phone down on me!! That's really the way they treat a loyal customer of 30 plus years.......I'm fuming!

I have been eating here since moving to the Potteries in the late 1980's. The finest Indian food in Stoke, I've never had anything that wasn't delicious.

Have always been very good, delivering great food which is fresh and hot. The food is usually on time and tastes great.

I ordered Chicken Paneer with rice and a portion of chips for just over £10. The delivery arrived 15-20 minutes earlier which was great. Boiled rice cooked perfectly, chips were hot and perfectly seasoned with salt + vinegar. Many takeaways are soggy. Chicken Paneer was amazing, large chunks of Chicken, perfectly spiced, minimal oil. Cheaper curries tend to be very oily. I was also given free Poppadoms that I was not expecting. The woman who delivered was super friendly. You can see why this takeaway has so many good reviews. I highly recommend! 10/10. Can't we wait to order again.

I have had chicken tikka balti from all over the uk in my job as a lorry driver over the past 25 years and never had a better one yet.I take them home to morecambe 6 at a time and freeze them.I discovered agra by chance.Glad I did.

I don't recommend the chicken tikka masala (it was more like chicken in tomato sauce), nor the chocolate cake (super dry and very little chocolate). I do recommend the onion rings, those were really good.

I ordered from here for the first timeI ordered the food for 9.30pmAnd it came on time and food was nice and warm like it's just been cookedThe sheekh kebab was out of this worldIt was beautiful and rich in flavourThe lamb and chicken apna style was so good I haven't got words to describe itThe price is reasonable other than thatNext time I want a kebab and a curry I know where to go.
