Excellent cafe with a good menu range, very handy place for lunch when out and about in Newcastle.

Had a great experience, lovley waitress named Milly was very attentive to our table and served me a delicious cheese and onion panini, my friend had a jacket potato. Also cooked to perfection. Overall 10 out of 10, have visited multiple times since

Very polite staff what an amazing experience. I would recommend this place to anyone .keep up the great work.

Popped in for a coffee and late breakfast, which they kindly cooked up for me even though it was clearly past breakfast time and they don't tend to do an all day breakfast here. But I'm glad they did, because it was very tasty thankyou.I've used here before but not tried their breakfasts, always had a drink with a cake or a scone, which are always nice.Handy place to visit when shopping in the town, plenty of seats and table space on two floors, nice decor, friendly , clean and a nice change from the well known coffee houses every now and again.

I and my mother was hoping to try this new place, we turned up at 3 pm, 1 hour before their opening times shows them to close. To see a couple of the tables had people seated and having food and drinks. We didn't see any staff members so we thought to seat ourselves, we couldn't see a menu on any of the tables, so we went up to the counter to find one, for someone out of the back to come to them from showing us the menu to then say "by the way the kitchen is closed"Like why would you give us a menu to then say we can't get anything?? why did you close your kitchen 1 hour before your opening times say??We won't be giving them another chance.

Baileys is a really nice proper tearoom on two floors, it is clean, nicely decorated, a plus for me was that there was no music but a basket full of magazines. The two ladies serving where very friendly.I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich, plenty of salmon and cheese, a side salad and crisps, I commented on the flavour of the crisps, the lady said she'd put prawn crisps to go with salmon. I thought this was very thoughtful of her, they obviously care about what they are serving.

food was ok,not higher rating as the 2 thing we ordered from the menu had run out so we chose something else, then the waitress came back and told us that had run out as well.We wern't impressed with the teenagers in the kitchen larking around and food took a while.Well presented with a cozy look and feel.

·

Amazing little tea room. Cakes and sandwiches were lovely. The scones were out of this world. Keep you topped up with tea all the time. Nothing to much trouble, staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

·

Nice décor and good food. Didn't have any more scones when we were there though >.>
