Very disappointing. Food was terrible. Service non existent really. Won't be returning I'm sorry to say

I went saturday 12th march to comedy club but they'd got my booking booked in for wrong week even after it had been confirmed. There was a beefy male throwing weight around being a right pain - later found out was owner Lee.... what a piece of work and shouldnt have anything to do with hospitality industry at any level. The down stairs needs a really good clean and the staff for the majority needed a bath including what they were wearing. Glad left soon after as the live music needs to both old enough to be there and mostly needs to learn how to entertain or sing in tune..... bad experience never going again.If you enjoy your health, stay away till new owners in place....

Very disappointing. Went for a drink before watching a movie next door.Four tables around us had food on and hasn’t been cleaned.Tried to order a drink at the bar and were told that it was table service only.We were sat down for 20/25mins and were not approached once to take our order.Eventually gave up and left - as did at least two other couples around us. Don’t waste your time.

Cocktails are banging. Lady with sick short hair and glasses very welcoming and checked back on our drinks even after payment. Deserves some beefy payrise. I'd hire her. Lol. Sick place overall!

The staff are absolutely amazing here. I will definitely be making an effort to return as the customer service here is so good. Nice clean place fast service, chilled atmosphere.

Me and a few others went for a bit of food and none of us were impressed. Service was slow and the waitress was not pleasant. We had to ask for cutlery and sauces, no-one asked if we wanted more drinks or asked if the food was ok. We wont be going back.The menu seemed tempting but the food was very basic and the coleslaw which was on every plate was vile!

Went to a private party. It was very good. The food was great vegan, vegetarian and ordinary was very tasty. The bar staff a young man worked very well under some pressure and upheld the companies rules snd licensing laws despite being challenged. Well done.

Feb 1st 2019We had the pleasure of holding my daughters 18th birthday party at Bar Social. Although when booking in October, I sensed issues with the management, and hoped I'd made the right choice. The time came to double check on my booking only to find the management had changed. Understanding my concerns they ensured me that they would provide everything to make the party a success. And they did.So my review is based on my overall experience of the venue staff food etc.I can honestly say the management in charge now Joffy, Vinnie and Dan did everything they could to make the night a success. Very polite efficient and a helpful crew. The staff, Jess , Sayer and others were absolutely brilliant,couldnt do enough for our guests.The venue upstairs is perfect for parties so classy. If you want a party please have a look here first!!!. Highly recommendedThe buffet @ £6 ahead was sufficient for this kind of event with plenty of party food provided.All in all Bar Social I give u 5*. Lovely place and Thank You from us all.

Good large-sized bar near to the cinema. On two levels with a special gin bar upstairs. It's roomy and you can generally find a table for you and your friends even at peak times on weekends. No great shakes in the beer selection but they have a huge selection of spirits and they make cocktails too. Food is also available.
