"A pub at the heart of the community and proud of our heritage. A quick catch up over a drink with family and friends, or catching all of the live action with our great sports viewing. There is always something going on in your local pub with a great atmosphere and value for money."

Booked today for my daughters burial and Celebration of Life for about 50 people. Food was excellent and staff couldn’t be more helpful. Highly recommended

Have emailed the companies guestcare but wanted to leave this on here also, myself and a friend came here Friday evening for something to eat and a drink but now we wish that we had not.Upon arrival we grabbed a table and looked the menu which was very grubby and sticky clearly not been wiped from previous people we chose our dishes and went to order staff seemed more interested in chatting and looking at phones than serving paying guests. We eventually had our order taken and went with our drinks back to the table, when the food arrived all I can say is you get what you pay for cheap microwave meals which were not very nice at all, but to top it all off upon using the bathroom facilities two males come out of the cubicle together leaving what can only be described as white powder residue in there, myself and my friend left straight away. If Greene King tolerate these kind of people in their establishments we will never set foot in one again

New to the area and popped in here the other day for a quick drink, ordered a pint of San Miguel from the girl behind the bar dressed in leggings which looks very unprofessional in my mind and who also looked very unkempt I’m sorry to say and in this day and age in a guest facing industry staff should take pride in their appearance, as for the beer I can only say the lines hadn’t been cleaned in a while because the taste was very bad and metallic which is surprising as another Greene king pub I used to visit the beer was always fabulous, I ended up leaving it and going elsewhere.I can only hope this was just a bad day at the Britannia but I will not be in a hurry to return anytime soon.
